What did you get this weekend?

Hi all!
I was just wondering what you guys got from the X3 event? Ever since classes started again I'm back to super casual player status, but I managed to farm some bosses. The only one dropping for me is Woe Spreader, but still 4 Woes in a few hours of playing is good for me! Especially since the only other green drop I've had was a Totem ages ago. I've had more black dye drops than green drops o.o

I got bupkus! But that's because I refuse to play factions. I'd like to see another x3 for Nightfall, or heck, even Prophs! Anything for Prophs! When was the last time we had a nice event for that?

I'm pretty sure it ended like four weeks ago. Wintersday, remember?

Anyway, I was really only interested in the Vera, but I got a pretty decent haul going for it, ended up getting 3 Time Eaters and 2 Jayne's Staves before I finally got my Vera.

All weekend but no one droped anything!

Yeah, but you never get any drop weekends or anything anymore...tons of people still play it. It'd be nice to see them throw the prophs kids a bone every so often other than the holiday stuff.

I chuckle every time I see the Vera/Jayne bit. I love the little homages they put into the game.

There were many others that I wanted, like a few Milefaun's, Kunvie's Staff, Vengeance Seeker and Sseer's Wish, but they were all very uncooperative.

i got absolutly nothing.

The main Green i was after was the Scareater for my monk. I was trying to make a solo build for him using my warrior. I could get him down to about 20% health then i would get killed by the other things around me.

Im going to keep trying to solo him till i master the build.

I was planning on helping my mate get a pair of Arius' Sai, but I didn't see him around at the times I was on :( hope he managed to get them anyway. I decided to go skill capping on my ellie, my thoughts were "if they drop they drop". Did think about maybe getting some stuff for my heroes, but they seem to be doing fine with the collector weapons they're getting, so decided to give it a miss.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons...for you are crunchy, and good with ketchup.

But what I really wanted was a double xp weakend so I could get my lvl 6 ele to 20 so she could farm trolls......

1 when i dualed with a friend and got it.
1 friend came at my place, and he farmed it for me, on my account >_>

and tried it like 20 times solo = nothing.

Got:

Scar eater, Woe spreader, and Mithurahan staff. Figured i cant sell them for more than 5k so i traded all of them for a vera with my friend.

Then i go farmed UW and gotten about 10 ectos and managed to sell for them for 100k

And gotten my Mummy armor for my rit and i broke now.

Nearly 20 hours total this weekend and I got 1 (yes, I said 1) green, Incetols ....

Got mad and did a Tombs run and got 3, lol.

I havent participated in this event. Only joined up with some friends to help them out on their own persuits. Of the 10 bosses we killed '0' greens have dropped.
For the rest i just continued my own goals in the game; getting more characters through NF ^^

8 items altogether just running around with an 8-man group filled up with heroes and henchies. Most of the greens went to henchies because my upgraded collector items are better but the one satisfying drop was the Petal's lantern, as we kill her every time we're in the area and she's never dropped it before.

So far I have found the best way to farm boses is manipulating the drop system ti increase your chances to get the green. Basically I do this with my 55 Necro/Mes and the following setups

Decide on the boss you want

if a caster take the following
You (N/me)
Reckless Haste, Spoil Victor, Price of Failure, Spirit Shackles, Mailiase, insiduous Parasite (the rest dont matter)
Set attributes as you see fit to balence Damage and hex duration times

If it is a Melee
Reckless Haste, Spoil Victor, Price of Failure, Ignorance (for healing sig), Insiduous Parasite, empathy (whatever else you like)

Then
Bonder monk (hero or person)
Bal's Spirit, Protective Bond, Watchful Sprit, Mending, Blessed Sig (make sure you disable the bonds so they stay on you)

Then a full party of hench whatever you want

How to:
basically find the boss you want to kill, keep your normal armor on and use your party to kill all the enimies around him, but dont kill him. WHen you have done this break aggro then flad all your party to a distant location. Put on you 55 armor bond yourself up and you and the bonder go back to the boss (make sure to keep the bonder back out of the way so he doesnt get attacked)

Now For casters I use Spoil Victor, spirit shackes and malaise to drain energy. Once energy getting low I cast reckless haste, price of failure, and spirit of failure. Make sure you keep up spirit shackles (specially on monks) and eventually they will die

For melee
cast Spoil victor, reckless haste, priced of failure spirit of failure, insiduous parasite and empathy, now obviously you have to watch your energy but cast them when you can.(use ignorance for warriors)

With all you party flagged out of drop range it is just you and your bonder figting for drops. This works very well even against monks as I have taken out scareater, Jayne, and scourgewind using this build. If you find a lot of hex removal then equip parasitic bond to cover main hexes.

If I get some good feedback here maybe I will actually post a guide, unless of course it has already been posted in which I am just repeating someone elses hard work. (apologize if I am)

nope no drops but then I was trying to use up my small key collection. so I didn't kill many bosses maybe 5 or 6.
I think the only thing i can say i felt good archiving was completing abadons mouth on my derv... picked up a few k on standard drops.

I ended up picking up about 40 scar eaters, give or take a few, haven't counted exactly. I was originally just grabbing them for my heros but I seemed to have good luck with drops so I just kept farming them. Should be a nice profit once the price goes back up to around 10k.

like many here I did not farm on my own but went to help some friends at imperial palace and all in all (maybe 3 - 4 run)

about 3-4 green dropped one of them mine

a Brrne bow

then a couple of my alliance members and I went to Urgoz on friday and we tried to do it once a day using different tactics, the best luck we got was with him and I going Ritualist (Rit-Lord the both of us and the rest 2 monks 2 necro 2 ele rest trappers-barrage)

Using the 2 rit built we had a very good chaance of completing it except 1 monk and 1 necro bailed on us at the wardens so after trying to thin them down we failed :(
