| Enterprise now Showing on Sci Fi Channel |

Well looks like I missed the launch but Sci Fi Channel is showing the cancelled Star Trek series on Monday nights, but is anyone watching it? I was very excited about this series before release then found myself dissapointed by in when it was on the air. Lots of mixed feelings though with good and bad points; anyone else have any thoughts or comments to add?

But is has the Bakula!
I think it came on the wrong time for me. I only saw a few episodes, and thought it was better than Deep Space 9. But since I never tape or tivo anything, it mostly passed me by. I can't really say I feel I missed anything.

I really loved and still enjoy the original Star Trek series. I thought The next generation series was a little rough at first but quickly came of it's own and it did not help that even back in college friends would tease me about being very Picard like. The came Deep Space 9 which was very hit and miss I think thought it had some really great moments and all the rest seem to show the lack of Gene Roddenberry's guidance. I still keep missing the Entreprise rebroadcasts but was thinking some would be interested in this one. :)
Still in pre production word is a new Star Trek movie is in the works and I am betting it will be a good one as they are breing in a whole new group of people to be involved on the creative side. Many would argue that Rick Berman and espcially Mr. B. Braga took the series in an unpopular direction.

I remember watching the original series in re-runs after school. (along with Flintstones and Hogan's Heroes :-P ) but of all the ones that have followed STNG is my favorite. We have the entire series on VHS (and starting now with DVDs *ugh*) so they are always readily available to watch.
