tell me what yo think

Hey ampers i figured i would stop and speak my mind a little nothing bad. But i just wanted to say how enjoyable this site is. Feels like a family on this site and i've become a regular it seems haha. Question though. i feel that i can be annoying sometimes and i apologize for it. But i want to know what you ampers think of the Col. Honesty would be awesome. but thank you for your time. let me know if i need to fix somethin so that in the future i don't offend anyone which i'm afraid of lol. but just let me know. Again thank you for your time

Hehe... well, I haven't gotten to play with you online, so I can't really say anything about that. As far as here goes, it shows you have 7 posts... kinda hard to get a feel one way or the other from 7 posts! Just relax and enjoy yourself! We ARE one big family here, and there is room for all sorts. As long as you don't flame anybody on the site, and you realize that I am the coolest cat around, it's all good! :D

The few times I have been on while you are talking on the Gameamp channel, I haven't had any issues.

Is there someone who has said something or is this just Paranoia setting in?

Don't sweat it Stryker. You have to keep in mind if you saw something, someone could have just been having a bad day. We all have our own personalities, so as agreeable as everyone is around here, some days even I annoy people. Trust me, you're doing fine!

And as horrible as it sounds, you just can't like everybody. So don't take it to heart if someone doesn't wanna be your friend or makes a few disparaging remarks. (You know, just like a real family, only better :P)

Friendly people on this set of forums can kinda get lost in the multitude of friendly people. Asshats and Jackholes stand out like a sore thumb. You don't stand out like that bro!

I would say not to worry about it, col. From what i've seen, you're just very enthusastic about the game and what's going on, and there's nothing wrong with that. If i've said anything, i apologize. It may be just a matter of that you become excited over things that some of us have seen for a while, so it's old hat to a few of us. And if this is the case, it isn't you, but us (the people who take it as old hat) that are at fault, b/c we're taking it for granted, and not considering how we were when we first saw/experienced whatever it was.

an example, assuming the above made zero sense:

First couple of months in, when i first discovered badges, i spend 6 hours camping the paladin spawns in Kings. When he finally showed up, i was very excited, seeing as he was the first GM i ran into.

However, nearly 1.5 years later, when someone has an experience like that, i'm more of "meh". I take it for granted, and forget what it was like the first time around.

So, don't worry, you're not doing anything wrong.

Col, don't sweat it. We are like a big family, a dysfunctional one at times, and like any family, we have our ups and downs. The times that I've talked to you on the channel, you haven't said anything that offended me or that most would consider offensive. Just relax and enjoy the game and campy dialog that often fills the channel.

Swiss, I think you may have forgotten to add Red to that list? Just kidding....sorta.

If you are referring to your many questions on the chat channel don't sweat it :) You don't learn about the game unless you ask. And that is one of the reasons the gameamp channel exists, so we can help each other as we play. I try to answer every question that I see, if I know the answer (and sometimes it seems I'm the only one who answers people, even though I know more folks are on), because it makes for more happy gamers, and when I have a question, I hope others do the same for me.
