on the 28 of jan. i was on my friends account we share two accounts (email: **********) i was on his account because his assassin was better at farming th green monk weapon the scar eater. its was also the triple green drop weekend. i looked at my friends list to see if a friend was on and i notice that my account is logged in. i PMed the account to see if it was my friend it was not. then i saw them switching between my PvE characters i kept PMing them to see if they would respond they didn't. i logged off and logged back in on my account all of my armor and weapons for all of my PvE chars were gone and all mt items in my inventory with value were gone. the only thing they didn't get to was my pvp char that kept all of my holiday items. my question is what should i do about this? i had thousands of gold invested in each of my chars my assassin had 15k armor my ranger had 2 sets of 15k armor primevil and ancient and a set of 1.5k drocks durids armor

Welcome to the site.
Unfortunately there is not a lot that you can do.
I am not saying this out of spite but sharing accounts is never a good thing. Also you helped any potential just by adding your email address into your original post.
I think your only option is to start again.
Regards,
Seph

seeing as you willingly shared your account with another person anet wont do anything, tells you in the terms and conditions not to do it/ the only thing you can do is reset the password which will send your nw password to your email address, unless your "friend" knows your email password and does it before you do, then your stuffed.
even if you hadnt shared your account all anet would do would be to transfer the ownership of the account back to you, but you'd still lose any items that had been sold. this has been proven by others on this site several times.
and just curious, was this friend someone you knew in real life, or just a friend in game?

You were at home when you used your friends account right. What did your friend at the time you played on his account ?. Ans yes.. is it a real friend, or in game. And are/were both of you willing to share your accounts.
IS your password hard to figure out scale from 1-10. And never post your e-mail that you use on Guild Wars. Cause someone might thinks it's funny to type in your e-mail and then reset password :((.

As has been said, there isnt much you can do about this. And as has been asked, is the friend an in-game friend or a real-life friend? Me and harrow have known eachother for over 3 years, and we didnt share our accounts with each other till about a year ago.
And not only do we know each-others GW account passwords, we know more, that being said, since we know this much about each other, doing something to the others GW account would be stupid.
Also, if your not willing to lose it all, done share your password even with your friends. They could mention it to one of there buddies who could then take everything and split the profits.
PS: Another reason me and harrow share our accounts is cause we did the same on Diablo II ages ago, so we know we can trust each-other. :P

i think it might be that your friend accidently slipped the password to a third friend.

Not to sound too harsh, but if you're gonna post your email address in a thread about getting your account stolen, it might be an indication of you having made that mistake in the past.
I do not use my main email address as my login email. There are enough free email sites where you can get a new address in 5 minutes.
