Last week I read a post from someone who basically had a funeral for one of his higher level chars who was deleted. It got me to thinking. I wish I had a set of dress armor which was totally non functional for combat but looked good for use in town. Which also got me thinking maybe they could make a town for people who wish to delete a high level char and have an in game funeral for that character. Say, you could only hold an official funeral for a char who obtained the highest level of any title. Invitations or notices could be sent to your friends list on what time the funeral was to held and they could show up in there dress armor sets. I just realized, I have far to much time to screw off at work.

uhh...That would be taking the game way too seriously ;) I guess it's an ok idea but just a bit weird. Wouldn't you rather see updates to storylines and skills :P

I wouldn't mine spending some gold on clothing that does not have a armor value but looks stylish.
Sort of like the dragon masks or candy cane weapons and shields. :) Make them part of a special event. Can have tux, wedding dresses and other cool things.

Town clothes has been a fairly requested item at a few of Gaile Gray's visits and word was that it was a favored idea but that was a while ago and yet to see anything like it :(
Maybe they could run a design an armor competition and people could then design their own town clothes, I'm sure that there are a lot of fantastic ideas from the gaming community that would really look nice, then if they did do a competition they could let us decide with some kind of ingame voting system (or they could choose the designs themselves as they have done with previous competitions, but I like the idea of letting us choose :P).

It sounds like an OK idea but most people would still buy FoW armor before town only armor lol.

Different sets of cloths would be cool.. could be a match set.. take up one slot.. wearing armor all day is hard work LOL

ill be satisfied if my warrior, with all those heavy armor sets, could replace them off with a t-shirt, jeans and slippers while in a city ^^

This is an example of kind of what I was thinking about. I know the photoshop work is on the crude side, but I am an immunohistotechnologist by trade, and not a huge computer guy. I was unaware this idea was proposed in the past to ANet.

I don't know about the funeral thing....But having a some other "clothes" in town would be kinda cool.
Cargo Shorts and a "Wife beater" for my warrior! (no the wife beater is NOT intended to offend anyone, just a slang word for undershirt with no sleeves...)
For my necro, he's already got no clothes just scars so maybe a pair of sweat pants with a Slayer t-shirt and some sweet Aviator Glasses.
...the shark blew up cuz the penguin rigged it with explosives. if you dont know this, ur retarded, in the face.

A suit (black dyed)
A place to put the dead guy in.
