Recluse TF how is it best played?

I am looking into the villian equivalant of hamidon strike force so i can get some duel enhancements. What i need to know is, how it all works, best toons to fill the team, what is a suggested team number, minimum level(suggested level), what can i expect from the strike force. If is already in the forum notes can someone point me 2 it. Thanks for helping this subject isnt discussed much and im at the level where Strike force reward is interesting to me.

brutes, MM's w/ vengeance, dark secondary, corruptors with good debuffs n buffs, also w/ vengeance, team of 8 is what you need to start it, you will always want mostly 50's, its okay if 1 or 2 people are between 45-49 but not alot, or else you will have a hard time with the lvl 54 hero AV's, especially if your a lvl 45 team. Im not sure about Domiantors, and Stalkers are only really good for vengeance bait, from what ive seen. If you have 3 corrutpors, 3 MM's, and 2 brutes, that equals out the team.

Corruptor = Healer/Buffer/Debuffer
Mastermind = Healer/Buffer/Debuffer/Damage Dealer
Brute = Damage Dealer

Poor old doms and stalkers, i can see the hero version being much more open to all AT's. Unlike the recluse one ¬_¬

Meh, I wouldnt worry too much about it. Get your feet wet with a solid group for your first one. Then go and strategize a team of your friends/SG mates. I've heard of all sorts of teams having done it. All Mastermind, all Brute, etc., etc. I think I even read about some Dominator team that pulled it off. What was really interestng reading was the 8 Stalker group. Heh! I would have loved to have seen that one myself.

From my own experience, the aforementioned groups (Corrs, Brutes, and whatever filling it out) are the standard In and Out in a Flash teams, but anything appears to work with a little forethought. And, yes, it seems that to take the last mission down quickly you should stack Vengeance, use the Warburg Rockets (all three if you can), and Shivans dont hurt. Stack all that, and you could probably pull off an 8 Dominator run. Scarey, aint it.

To me "best" is 2 good brutes 4 corrs (different flavors like to have at least 1 rad and 1 kin) 1 mm and 1 whatever; but I've done it around a dozen times with a lot of variations and it can be done.

But vengeance is real good to have and as with many SFs invis/tp can be handy.

RE: Recluse TF how is it best played?

We run the LRSF on average 3 times per night and 5-6 times a day on the weekend. We just completed our 150th run as a VG yesterday. In this time, we have learned if you will take the time to get Warburg Nukes/Shivs/and get at least 4 toons with Vengeance, it really doesn't need to be the "perfect" team anymore. Once the heroes in the final mission were bumped down a level, it became a bit easier.

The most sub-optimal team we have ever run with is as follows and we still beat it in about 1hr 20 min.

Ice/Ice Dom (w/ veng)
Fire/Energy Dom (w/ veng)
Dark/Thermal (w/ veng)
EM/EA Brute (w/ recall to ghost bombs/codes)
AR/Rad (w/ veng)
Necro/FF MM (w/ veng)
Ice/Kin (w/ veng)
Fire/Invuln Brute

Basically, here is what you need to make it around an hour everytime:

1 /Rad
1 /Kin
1 /Stone, /Elec, /EA, /Invuln Brute (only those with good Tier 9s)
1 /Thermal

1 person with the ability to ghost bombs (1st mission) and code (4th mission) and this person should also have recall friend for the 2nd mission to go directly to the last room after defeating the GM.

4 Toons w/ Vengeance (after that, the bonus to additional veng is marginal, but still nice to have)

1 Toon who can be used as veng bait, preferably a brute with a nice Tier 9 power (to be used after rez) or at least 4-5 purples and demonic so they don't immediately die once they begin attacking. (Obviously, this person should NOT have vengeance unless you have excess)

5-6 Shivs, 1 Chem Nuke, 1 Bio Nuke, 1 Crystal of Serafina (optional but very nice)

That's about it, as far as team builds go. As I have said, it can be done with sub-optimal teams (well, sub-optimal to min-maxers anyway :)) in impressive times as well. These are just general guidelines we like to roll with. We actually LOVE taking MMs on the RSF. We have been recently rolling with a bot/dark, thug/dark combo and it is VERY nice. All those pets with stacked veng, a site to see :)

Hope the post was helpful.
