The Thrilling tale of Brig and Esprit's Triumphant Return

Yes thats right ladies, gentlemen and Kheldians, I am back!

After reaching 50 I slowly became less interested in the game and eventually decided to quit all together. I also decided to leave Gameamp with a fizz rather than a bang. Since then I have tried my hand at Guild Wars and recently World of Warcraft, but I enjoyed neither as much as I did City of Heroes.

The main problems were community ones: the players never matched those of CoH in quality, maturity and personality. I also never found anyone I could spend any prolonged amount of time with without vomiting blood and entrails.

Hence my return to CoH Gameamp and the game itself. I've always loved the vibe ingame and in these forums - they are matched in no other game or even any other Gameamp forum. Antipathy (the artist formally known as xtreme_hippy) got me talking about 'the good old days' which gave me the last push in the direction of Paragon. He will make his own post shortly and we will both be back on Defiant in a few weeks.

That's right guys girls and everything inbetween's! We're back. I dropped my old account because I realised the name was utterly dire about 5 mins after I created it, and since I'm just coming back, a new account seemed like a sensible-ish thing to do. I thought Antipathy might be appropriate, seeing as my main is an Empath, yet I hate defenders being labelled as healers, so it has irony and cynicism rolled up into it!

So, yeah, to anyone on Defiant who happened to know me and/or Mike before, we'll be making our less-than-triumphant return in the coming days/weeks. Stay tuned for developments.
