BC Boss Strategies - Detailed
Boss encounters in Burning Crusade have a few more dynamics then our regular fashioned level 60 dungeons. Some of the fights require a great deal of awareness from your group and can quickly stack up repair bills for all players. A few things to realize as you fight a boss:
Useful buffs – Size the boss up. Look at his skills and actively think of useful buffs to use. Amplify and Dampen Magic are often overlooked but exceedingly useful with on the proper boss with the right party composition.
Positioning – Group positioning is exceedingly important on most of the boss fights. Keeping your group away from dangerous chain lightning or perhaps just keeping your tank’s back to the wall will save your group a lot of frustration. If something doesn’t work the first time, position your group in a different fashion.
Skills – Knowing what skills or spells a boss has before the fight starts is the fastest means to victory. Boss skills in Burning Crusade are much more dynamic and can intricate variables into account when being used on your party. Your party’s distance to the boss, the angle in which you stand, the mana that you do or do not spend, Mind Controlling your entire party to fight each other are all very real, very nasty threats you will face in your dungeon trekking through Burning Crusade.
