Hello,
I have been playing WoW for about a month now, and I have tried to play with the least amount of grind possible, so what I have been doing is I started 2 chars and let's say today I play my warrior (level 35) and tomorrow my druid (level 25), that way they are rested every time I log on with one of them and then I have to grind a lot less than I normally would since kills are double xp.
And I gotta tell you I love this feature about the game, at least it gives the casual a player a chance to enjoy the game :D
Anyways I just wanted to start a new thread :P

Rested Xp is the best idea ever! ...after penguins that is. O.o
I also run around with multiple chars so it's easier to catch up with other chars once you get bored with one. :)
Lol, I can't even remember the last time I logged outside a big city or a tavern. xD

I did exactly the same thing, only with about 5 characters. I would play the one with rested xp for about 5 or so days till I used it all up, and by that time, the one of the others would have accumulated the max amount of rested xp, so I'd play that character's rested xp out. Rinse and repeat. :)

Conviniently, exactly 5 days of rest (week days, during which I do not play) is enough for my Hunter to level up one level every weekend if I grind. Of course at this rate it would take me 43+ weeks to get to 60. But if it becomes drastically harder to level after 35 it could take over 70-80 weeks, or nearly two years. Yet I see lvl 63 Draenie running around, and BC was only realeased a few weeks ago, meaning those people must play every hour of every day. Just like the powergamer who owns everyone in that south park episode.

Well i personally like this way myself too.. I use it sometimes too, its a lot slower then just lvling tho. :)
Check out Pirates of the Burning Sea... Yarr! We got some interestin stuff goin on!

just a note the actual DOUBLE bonus ONLY applies to monster mobs, it does not apply to beast mobs. So you cannot go and grind boars for example and get double honor, where as you can go out and kill a huminoid and get double xo. (anything that drops coinage gives double xp is a good way to tell the difference) You still get bonus xp for killing beasts it is just not as much, I think its half or a 1/4 i cant remember offhand, ill look it up later.

I like having rested XP but i hate it cuz it reminds that i have been slacking off. Unlike most people i dont create a bunch of characters. Most class dont interest me.
I had to stop for 2 weeks cuz my game wouldn't work then BC came out so i ask for paid transfer and it worked :D I wanted to be 60 before expansion but wasn't able to becuz of lag issues i had. Nowwww becuz i havent played i have 150% XP rested on my priest which is sweet since i created an alt. I get to grind with my priest and do quest with my new lil mage. I dont like doing quest much and i get bored easily with instences when im not with people i know. Anywyas, great feature the rested XP gives people like me a chance :D
