I had been wondering if you got in for the stress test if you got to keep on testing. It is good to know they do.

First off, Welcome to Gameamp!
Now, have you checked that you have all the files downloaded into the same directory. This includes the setup files a-e, and the installer. I think this could be your problem. Once they're in the same directory, then just run the installer and it should work.

Thank you for replying...I had checked that and they were all in the same folder. I was so aggrevated that I just decided to waste another 2 1/2 hours of my life and dl it again. LOL That one worked, so I have been able to play. :) Again..thanks for the advice though.

Thanks thejeni...I will LOL I have been playing so much of it since saturday, that I had to finally get on GW cause my guildmate complained of being lonely. LOL Can't let that happen...he's the leader, who knows what ornery things he may do to me. :) Besides the fact that there are only 3 of us active atm. lol
Again, thanks for the welcome...and the advice. It is appreciated.

Well you can't have your guildie being lonely. And it is good to take a break from beta testing. You don't want to go through all the content just yet. And how else are you going to talk your guild into trying LOTRO *grin*

Talk him into it??? I doubt we will have to...if we end up buying it, he will get it on the pretense of..."how else am I going to keep in touch with you guys?" and of course "can't let you have all the fun without me" when it really is "i'm lonely and miss being picked on" LOL Oh..he'll come over, the hard part is justifying the money spent monthly to hubby. LOL Gotta get him hooked. Oh, and breaks are good..but I thought that was what RL was for???? LOL GW, will never go away for me...it was my first. :)

Justifying it to the hubby should be pretty easy. I mean for the price of going to the movies, you get a months worth of game play. And if you really get into the game, you won't be going to see as many movies. Or going out to dinner one time. $30 a month for good solid entertainment is a good deal (for 2 people).
And one great thing about GW is that it is free. So when you do start to crave it a bit, you can just log on in.
And what is the "real life" thing you are talking about? I'm pretty sure the only way to get a break from a game is to play another one *grin*

Well, that would be all well and good if we went to the movies. lol We tend to just go see "blockbusters". Even then we miss a few. Our out to dinner is pizza, my boys are addicted and well...eating and playing aren't that hard either...tho it is more of a challenge in LORTO than GW, can't use the mouse to move :( I have a feeling that if I do get him hooked, we will do the buy out. That way we won't feel bad if there is a month we don't play often. lol Tho realize that often is relative and would probably mean we missed just one full weekend. lol
Real Life??? I think it came from this reacurring dream I have where I put on this uniform and go to work and help grumpy people find a cd/movie or goodness forbid...pick an MP3 player. I just can't seem to stop having this dream, happens about 5 times a week too....any suggestions?? lol

Hum... I'm sure I can come up w/ other justifications. Let's see. Quality entertainment for a very reasonable price (you won'tneed to see blockbusters any more b/c you will create your own *grin*). Um... Online addictions are healthy? Yeah, I like that one. Needless to say, it doesn't take much in justyfing it for me *grin* Of course I'm addicted to MMOs, so that could be part of it.
And I'm not sure what to tell you about your dream. It sounds so strange. I remember when I used to have dreams like that. But for a year now, all I can remember is GameAmp and games.
