This is yet another thread where you can post some ideas you have about a major update or Ch.4
Bone Fiend - Classify as arrows, so they work with Favorable Winds. This was probably their intentions but they decided a no, as they used to look like arrows. Im not asking them to change that art to arrows again, but instead make it classify as an arrow attack.
Two interesting things to point out what im talking about.

| QUOTE | | Update - Thursday September 14, 2006 - Updated the art used for Bone Fiend projectile attacks. |
Favorable Winds - Create a level 1...8 Spirit. For non-Spirit creatures within its range, arrows move twice as fast as normal and strike for +6 damage. This Spirit dies after 30...126 seconds.
Bone Fiends would probably do alot better under the effects of this spirit.
I wanna see some good unique ideas coming from the Gameamp community

If you think this is a good idea, put in your post that you are for this idea.

I am against FW affected Bone Fiends.
Reasons:
1)Bone Fiends attack faster than melee minion.
2)They already do a fair amount of damage on their own.
3)There are necromancer hexes that can help increase their damage, directly(Order of Undeath) and indirectly(Barbs, Weaken Armor).
Just my thoughts.

Bone Fiends already deal more damage over time than any (nonelite) minion type; they hardly need another buff.
If you want another damage bonus, there's several options. Order of Undeath is one, though it takes an elite slot and carries a pretty heavy health cost for you. Barbs is another, though it only works on one target; Mark of Pain has the same sort of effect, but only works on enemies adjacent to one target (and not the target itself). The best nonelite damage buff for Bone Fiends is almost certainly Winnowing, which gives +4 damage to all physical attacks.
Winnowing and Predatory Season are the main reasons to go N/Ra for a MM. Winnowing, obviously, gives a small damage boost, and Predatory Season provides a small amount of selfhealing to the minions (about 1 1/2 pip of regen if I remember correctly). However, since there's much greater benefits to going N/Rt, N/Me, or N/Mo, you don't see many N/Ra Minionmancers or indeed many N/Ras at all.

bone fiends are ok at the moment i think (touch wood we dont have a nerf attack) but there should be a non elite buff spell for minions. things i want to see changed now are:
*a seperate bar so you can see your minions health
*eoe unerf
*8 man HA permanent BUT a 6v6 arena so the lil SF nubs dont complain about iway :)
*15+ minion limit
*updates to existing campaigns instead of making new crap ones
*the retarded game mechanics since the NF updates. EG- monsters just standing around if there are nore than 3 attacking...i mean really lol, im a big scary monster but oh noes :O theres 3 already attacking...ill just scratch my Balls XD
not a rant btw just a few ideas for future updates :)
peace

Thanks for the feed back., but i made a discovery. FW may not work on minions, maybe people have not tosted it anough but when you use the conflagration spirit (NOT Greater) the arrows *excuse me* Projectiles, have a firey look to them wen shot from the bone minions. << I read that in a discussion Guildwiki. The one guy says "are you sure you are not using GREATER conflagration?" < But that wont make arrows firey because it would have to make other types of physical weapons look firey too.

If that's supposed to be happening, they'd have to let each minion do less damage. But as I think of it, that would actually be a quite good idea. MMs can be quite overpowered at times, so if they increased the limit to 15, and at the same time decreased the damage they deal, you would end up with more "meat shields" (so to speak), which is good for PvE, and at the same time each minion would be a bit weaker. But if you get many of them, they would still pack the same punch, and also be a great help for getting some pressure of the tanks...
I kinda like the idea. =)
