Happy VD everyone! It's a frozen holiday here in NJ & I have no work today *does happy dance* *sips coffee* A great day to get on the game. Gave the wifey a box of chocolates & a card for Valentines day, then she leaves for England today :( (lonely holiday) Hopefully I'll be spending a lot of time in CoX to cheer me up:). It looks like most schools are going to be closed in NJ,PA,NY & the surrounding areas. So is anybody else home for the day? & if so how are you spending it?

I have never liked Valentine's Day, too commercial. Even worse than Christmas. But like DF and his area, schools are closed and people are home. I will be spending it here or maybe on the couch...depends on my mood.

Happy Heart Day everyone. I am here at work as usual. I would love to be home and playing but I dont think they will let me off for that. So I will be sitting here reading Gameamp dreaming of being a crime fighter.

Southern Ohio is feeling the chilly bite as well, but I still have to go to work this afternoon. Schools are closed, and my friend got called and told not to come in because of the weather. I don't get that lucky. A butcher's job is never done, especially in a big grocery....
I'm with Grifter on the whole V-Day thing. I can't get into a holiday that was created by companies to boost their sales.

It's cold here in the midwest and we do have snow, but it's pretty light and the roads are still clear so school is in, but there's not a lot scheduled for me to work on today so I'll be in game sometime. And Happy Valentine's day everyone. Let's forget about the commercialism and just enjoy the love.

How can you argue w/ a day in which chocolate is supposed to be spread around the masses?
And could someone please send me snow. We got just a baby tease of it yesterday and now it is just cold. If I'm going to be cold, I want snow. But today it is business as usual for me... wake up and stumble to my computer and start working *grin*

and jeni, i sympathize with your long commute. my normal hour and 15 minute commute was increase to 2 hours this morning. I was the only one in the left lane passing people and i was going 40 mph on the highway. go JEEP!
