Heres a list of what each chef in Shing Jea Monestary requires for this weekends festivities. I did a quick search on guildwiki for each item and came up with what drops them, which location and campaign. I guess there will be tonnes of trading going on for those who want to complete each one. My pre-searing Ele is gonna be busy farming Icy Lodestones to get them out for the event :)
Imperial Chef Tian
Truffles
Dropped by Fungal Wallow in various locations around the Echovald Forest (Factions)
Ebon Spider Webs
Dropped by Lava Spitter (spider) around the Fire Islands (Prophecies)
Half-Eaten Blobs
Dropped by Bog Skale, Bog Skale Blighter and Bog Skale Icetooth all found in Kryta (Prophecies)
Azure Remains
Dropped by Azure Shadow found in the Southern Shiverpeaks (Prophecies)
Icy Lodestones
Dropped by Ice Elemental found in Pre-searing (Prophecies)
Imperial Chef Reun
Alpine Seeds
Dropped by Juniper Bark, Pinesoul and Succulent Juniper found across the Northern and Southern Shiverpeaks (Prophecies)
Guardian Moss
Dropped by Island Guardian found in Pongmei Valley, Mount Qinkai and Maishang Hills (Factions)
Celestial Essence
Dropped by Celestial creatures found in Nahpui (Factions)
Dragon Root

You are completely right, these items are scattered everywhere. If its true that you need one of each to make something then you would need all 3 campaigns and access to a lot of places if you dont want to spend all your money on ingredients. It may be easier than we think maybe?

We don't know how this is going to work, we may not need to farm the items, there may well be another way to get them during the event. If we do need to farm them I hope there is some good reward for some of these as things that are farmed in the Fire islands aren't going to be that easy to get.
As for it being unfair to players with out all campaigns, we could make it fairer by giving away the surplous items we do farm :)

My guildies and I are working at gathering several of each of the items... Only a few of us have finished all 3 campaigns so farm, so I sent out the ones that have out to the far reaches and others to gather what they could... We would be glad to share any extras with the ampers that can not get to those areas if we can gather enough. No promises but we are working on it.

Well, I suppose that each chef offers the same rewards for different things, that is how it's been in past events. And if you notice, the last two that Geek listed require only prophecies, or only factions items. So even owning just factions would allow you to participate. And none of the items are found in Elona, so Nightfall isn't required for any of them. Still, a lot of those items are relatively rare, and will be difficult to farm. Shame too, I might have considered actually farming a bit to get some fireworks.

I wonder if, as some of these items aren't the easiest to collect, the chefs just require one of each recipe for the whole district at the time of the arrival of the Celestial Pig?
Guess we won't know until the event kicks off.

if u look @ the GW website it tells u that the chefs will give u LUNAR TOKENS these can then be traded for prizes and items.

About 1 week before this event was posted, i literally did a "spring cleaning" and merchant every item ive been storing cuz i was running out of room. I literally had half of these items in good quantity. Sold it all for 20k to the merchant thinking i would never need this junk. Now im a little bummed...

I have to say I am loving collecting all these items, running around areas I haven't visited in a long time and enjoying them immensely. Getting a good boost in income along the way, found several gold items and unlocked several chests (why do chests always give me plums).
I don't really care how worth it it's going to be, it's rekindled my interest in areas of the map I forgot about and thats been great fun :)
Some of the items are a little frustrating to get but I think I'm about 75% to having at least 1 of each item.

They do, but. It takes a long time if you feel more comfortable with the fire place then do that because the junbgle is frustrating, it took me a while to get them there.
