Hey, iv been playing Guildwars for quite a bit now, but i forgot my user name and pass for this acc etc...
you probs dont care but I'm quiting Guildwars,mainly because i am bored of it, nothing that i could possibly obtain any more e.g. FoW and everything takes too long. and if something does happen that you can make money on, if either nerfed, or people spoil it ingame for you, e.g. i was selling pigs for a price, buying tokens, then selling pigs. 15 mins later people said the secret to obtaining such a number of 12 pigs eassily.this was the last straw, i instantly gave everything i owned away and deleted my chars nearly each a year old and uninstalled guildwars .i probs get my acc on here banned for flaming anet
does any one feel they just wish it could go back to the way it ust to be

don't really understand why you join this community if you're quiting anyway... but that's just me ;-)
A'net can't do things right for everyone..
If everything stayed the same.. people would complain coz it's boring..
If they change stuff, people complain coz they are not used to it..
A'net is a company.. with +150 people working their to give +" million people a fun thing to do..
Flaming A'net on't help.. Maybe you just need another game ;-)
Don't blame anet though... they do more than enough to keep us entertained
On the sidenote: a fun and good guild keeps you playing no matter what imo ;-)

People that come onto forums like this and post these sort of "goodbyes" are only looking for pity and sympathy. Won't get none from me!!

Nope, you didn't flame Anet at all.
You said you were bored with it and that's fine.
You've actually wrote your 'farewell' letter alot better than other letters I've seen recently.

xD i found roller beatels thingy quite fun, for about 15 mins

and there is no secret, people weer all just like Woah wtf a pig mini im getting one i want one, how do you get it.
and with the guilds thing i found it fun, i joined a farming guild for a bit, i mean after a few weeks of uw non stop, then the deep and urgoz i got very bored.
then i joined pvp guild, started getting glad points, faction titels, and fame, but its just they nerfed all the skills and everything startight away, i mean do nerf things to make it harder to farm e.g. scatter. now they nerfed famine so it goes slower, and the 55 and warrior build, i mean do they not want us to farm, oh ye and with the pvp guild i thought hey i like this doin Sf eles and builds like that were fun i was really enjoying myself, but now i need to have like 1348395 fame in order to join a guild so i can get better at HA and get more fame.

Well i had another account on here ages ago but forgot everything to it, so i had to make a new msn and acc on here
and the flying pig thing, im very priviliged as i can fly and you cant :D

He might sound offensive and flaming, but that is definetely true.
If you were so fast to delete every char, give it all away to some random person, why don't you actually give or sell your account for a small bit of cash to make sure you never fall back into playing this ''boring'' game? I'd say you can still manage to get some cash out of it, makes the most usefull of it instead of having an account wasted :P

comon there's still plenty to do in gw than just farming and HA. i really don't undstand why ppl quit without exploring the game some more.

Hey, if he wants to leave, he can leave, we shouldn't stop him, yes, he tries to make quite a few people pissed off and such, and possibly trying to make us sympathize, well he's wrong.
Just stay away from people like this as much as you can, less they annoy you and the fun you have.

I agree if you think its just for sympathy then just don't post cause thats not giving them any as well as not giving close to flame remarks. The best motto is if you can say something nice just don't say anything at all. Its just as easy to say I love Guildwars and plan to play it for a long time but I'm sorry to see its no longer to your liking, if you should return one day look me up I'll probably still be on here playing.

I'm not going to quote a bunch of previous things already said, it's pointless. I will say this this....
Think about it people, he gives away all his stuff, deltes his characters, uninstalls the game, and joins a forum, and his 1st post is "boohoo I'm quiting". What does that tell you? He/She wants pity, and for you and I to feel sorry for him. May even want someone to say "No please don't go, stay and I will help you and give you stuff to get you back on your feet". WHATEVER!!!!
I don't care that he, or anyone elese quits. But these forums are made to discuss the game, the pros and the cons, not for all the stupid "I'm quiting threads that have been such a huge part of them lately. You want to quit...BYE!!! I won't miss you. I won't pity you. And I most certainly wont coddle you. Grow up, deal with your issues, and move on.

A quitting thread = flame on!
So if anyone starts playing gw and joins this community he gets all the warms welcomes and hellos and smiley faces, if one for any reason happen to leave..... oh god, lets just flame this guy. Whatever the reason anyone have to leave the game, pls respect his action, sure we can try to convince him not to leave giving arguments, etc but dont flame. If you have nothing to say at all, just say goodbye or dont even post anything.
Many ppl that actually dont play gw anymore actually enjoy coming here just to read ppl oppinions regarding gw or other things, help others, etc.
For those who think this kind of thread have nothing to do with the game or just dont like it there are so many others threads regarding personal achivments in rl that have nothing to do with gw and still he get respected and treated well by others.
Some ppl are reading way too many guru posts, and that picture with the cow just no comments...

The point is not that I nor the others are giving him sympathy. Its the fact that you say your don't give him any and could have done the same things by just not replying instead of just showing disrespect. He also stated he forgot his acct and pass to gameamp. I'm not sure I remember what my pass is cause I stay logged in. Also flames tend to follow any post thats not all praise towards Anet. If you hate all the I'm quitting post just skip it and move on why even bother reading them for they are just a waste of your time. Sometimes silence is louder than words. Don't you think a topic that gets no replies or very few shows that most don't agree or don't care for the topic?

Do you really think if that person was playing for almost a year and he deleted hi chars., give all stuff away and uninstall the game he wants pitty? Dont you think he just want to tell why he quitted or why he got bored/ burn out of the game? or he just wanted to share his oppinion?

To discuss the pros and cons...what about if more ppl feel the same way about the reason he quitted and they quitted also? Is that a con right? a reason for them to just not like the game, some are stronger thean others but they are a reasons anyway.
Like i said before, everyday on these forums all ppl post threads about school, family, personal achivments that has nothing to do with GW and we flame those? on the contrary, we give our oppinions and cheer for them, that why we are here such a strong community.
Just think before you post things like that and dont flame.

I didn't flame anyone. I stated my opinion regarding this topic. Flaming would be calling him names, insulting him, or anything related. You want to leave, then leave. But don;t litter the forums up with your pointless "I'm quiting" threads. It's pointless and childish. You can argue all youo want about it. My point remains true and intact. If the day comes you post one I won't miss you either.
