I opened like 43 of those Lunar Fortunes and didnt get one pig.
I was sad :(.

i opened 100 to get my pig, if i remeber, Kanna opened 200 and no pig, not sure if that number changed.

first time I did it.. within the first three I opened I got my first one.. but I wanted a second one for my girl but she does not have factions so I opened 200 more to get hers LOL

I got lucky...i got 2 pigs within 10-15 tickets. my condolences to the people i have heard saying they opened hundreds of fortunes without luck.
I hear its a 3.5% chance you will get a pig...

These have fallen in price sooo much!, When I first saw one it was 100k+, now you can get them under 5k O_O

I think 5k is a steap price...do the quests, you can make at least plat, then use all the tickets...good chance you will get a pig, and if not...you probably made a couple more plat...then do beetle races or that rock paper scissors game i heard someone talk about if you still lack your pig.

there are 3 new quests in town, plus a 4th just outside of town.

Even these people knew the price was way lower, they just go to lions arch, kamadan and so forth in hopes there are still people being ignorant and don't know how to get them, indeed, until there are some people coming telling him/her that its not 100K but waaay less he will just go to another dis and try to sell it, that always happens.
Nightfall came out, and as soon as possible people with the varesh minipet rushed towards Cantha and Tyria to sell it for 100K + ecto's there, nowadays you can get Varesh for 10K if you talk about the price a bit (or lower)

Near the arena guard in the monestary you can trade in 3 tokens for a "Lunar Fortune".
Double click to use it outside and you get a random prize.
The prizes include:
-100 Gold
-1 Sparkler
-1 Bottle Rocket
-1 Champagne Popper
-A "Lucky Aura" (Don't know what it does)
-"Bad Luck" Which makes you say all these crazy things and your screen goes psycho
-1 Miniature Pig (A big celestial pig comes from the sky when you get one, it's awesome)
-Some Lunar Blessing which gives you +1 to all your attributes.
So yeah, pig is kinda random :P

Well, I'd like a pig, but more than that I'd like to play the game...this morning Shing Jea monestary is a frozen location, can't move, can't send messages, getting ping counts of almost 11000 ms....I was in English district 14 at the time. I'll have to try later (when it's not so busy?).

Yes, it's just like any other mini-pet. You can take it out in outpost, towns, explorable areas etc.

This is really aggrivating first I've got such bad lag that the game is almost unplayable, and second I've gone through hundreds of fortunes, and not one pig! Some people get 2 in their first 10. I would rather just trade my 100 fortunes for the pig...

I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised when I recieved my Pig after 30 tokens, I usually have such bad luck when it comes to things like that. Don't worry though, you'll get one eventually.
If you want to increase your chances (if you're not doing this already that is) you can get more Lunar Fortunes by using your Lunar Tokens to play /rock, /paper, /scissors with Lucky Hochei in LA, rather than just trading them in, 3 for 1. This approach does however require more time, but if you really want a pig, you'll recieve many more Fortunes by using this method.

i had 13 pigs in like 20 mintues of the event as i baught luinar tokens for like 50g each until i had like 600-700 and i opened them all and i got about 6 pigs i sold them for 40k each, then baught more tokens etc... etc...

im hitting 300 tokens and not one pig now.. been racing stupid laggy buggs for about 7 hours now...
im not happy...
if anyone has one to spare ill gladly buy it from you. (plenty of money from these damn charms thats all i seem to get ;/)

I did a ton more fortunes today, and I noticed that now I'm not even getting gold. Now my chances are like 1/5 for an actual item the rest is the crappy blessings (usually the bad one).
Anyone selling a pig for a good price?
