thanks to the celestial pig i finally got my mini-pet pig :)
i wasted my 300+ fortunes for nothing and i was losing hope... BUT THEN THE ALMIGHT PIG DESCENDED FROM THE SKIES !! HE ATE AND HE ATE AND HE ATE TILL HE COULD NO MORE ! AND HE GAVE ME AN ALMIGHTY COPY OF HIMSELF THE MINIATURE PIG NAMED SHAWTY !!! THANK THE GODS ! I FOUND MY SOUL MATE :D
i do not state that gw is real life and i will never will do but i take gw very serious and i would like not to get flamed for my reaction on when i met the holy one.
there were no animals harmed during the making of this topic

I'm usually an un-lucky person, but on my first fortune, I got a Mini-Pig... my guild leader has used about 200 & not got one, I feel kinda bad :(
But ah well, enjoy the pig, at least if your stuck you got something to eat :)

I too like the Celestial Pig, but I think you should be more thankful to all those people that spent so long gathering all the things for the chefs, because without them you wouldn't have gotten a pig. I've got four pigs now, and only one of those came from fortunes. I thought I was having good luck with them, got a pig in the first 30 I opened. But I opened a total of 415 fortunes by this morning, and that was the only pig I got, sort of disappointing. But thanks to the celestial pig and all those dedicated farmers, I've got four now!

This IDOT of a farmer was shooting his pig into the sky!!!! , i have already reported him to the animal police for animal cruelty. the pig didn't seem to like the water he was shopt in , atleast i didn't see him smile.

Wow Ghost, you've missed a bit. This weekend was the special event celebrating the Canthan New Year (just like the chinese new year) and it was the year of the Pig (as it is in the chinese calendar). So today is the finale, and every three hours the celestial pig comes to Shing Jea Monastery to eat from the food the chefs there provide him. If players in that district have all the supplies so the chefs can create their dishes, everyone in the district gets a Lion hat, 16 red gift bags (just like christmas presents), and a miniature pig. If they don't give him all the food he wants, you still get the hat and some gift bags, but you won't get the mini pig.

AND I FARMED INGREDIENTS TO !!
i got some naga hides and sone mantid pincers... i misread the chef guy and thought he needed the mantid pincers, but he needed mantis pincers xD

timmy was my best friend, and piggy ate him.
I may only have 2 mii pigs but they can take him down.

got my mini pig on the first day. got 3 in 30 opened lunar tokens. gave away two to some guys in my alliance.
but i love my mini piggie! so cute. i wish he was real :(
makes me sad because i know i'll never happen lol

This was my first In Game Event. And I must say it was a unique experience. It was so surreal, people pooping off fireworks, people runnin around with masks.

Needless to say I had to buy my mini-pig, I spent 4.5K- To
me it was worth it. I finally have a mini-pet. Finally!
It is scandalous that ppl with lots of mini pigs that are
trying to sell them for 10k, 20k or even 5k. Personally if I had more than mini-pig I would give it away.
The purpose of these in game events and mini-pets is to bring a reprieve and reward to all guild wars players. it sad how its turn into a market! I remember 10 months ago when the veterans of this game started to leave guild wars for other games. The had all these green items and dyes, and gave them away. Thats how guild wars should be played. Like passing the torch, and not preying on ppl. its only game!!! i do however believe ppl who are too lazy to get stuff on their own should pay.

Yes paying for that pig was a scandal! But I never got a mini pet yet. So in that sense it was worth it even though I got rapped!
worth it because i tried and tried gathering the items for the chef and failed every single time.
its sad when ppl make money off me. im such a sucka
