How often do you think these will be held? Once a month? Twice? Once a week? I enjoy the 1v1 OLB thing. I wouldnt mind signing up for it if you held another one.

It basically just depends on activity. Hanging around #onelastbang is a good start.
The problem with putting something together with more people is, it's hard to do it in 1 night. So yes, we'll almost certainly have a big 1v1 tourney sooner or later, but as for individual 1-night quick deals, it's simply not possible with a huge number of players.
This does bring an interesting idea to light, though; perhaps it would be better to organize a 1v1 tourney so that there's groups of 8, and they each have their own qualifying "mini tourney" on seperate nights, with the winners going on to a grand final. Then you could take those 2 or 4 or however many winners and have them play from there to the end on finals night. This would allow for much more thorough coverage than if there was tons of games going on at once, and it would also be easier to manage.
Just brainstorming for the future...

that's a good idea con... OLB is bringing new life to our dying community. People are getting excited about the new 4v4 and there's alot of interest in 2v2/1v1... the more we toy with ideas and spring up on the spot tournies like you did last night the more people are going to start to want to have them more often. I know alot of people who couldn't be in last night's 1v1 that would join if there was another.

ONe of the issues is the time it takes to run last nights took 6 hours. 2 of which could have been shaved off it the players were more organized. That's something that could change with time as people get more organized, but who knows.
