Ghost Rider AWESOME

I just recently watched Ghost Rider and i must say that is beyond the best Marvel film i've seen to date. But as my friends were talking who would win a battle between Ghost Rider and Spawn. i think it would be a hard fight to judge,

Another think have you noticed that these hero films get people to buy this game i don't know if you've noticed but heros and villians is growing fast.

RE: Ghost Rider AWESOME

I saw Ghost Rider also and I have to say that I wasn't that impressed. The scenes with the actually Ghost Rider were pretty GOOD but the rest of the movie was kinda weak IMHO. I guess being an old school Ghost Rider fan I guess I expected more.

I'd also have to say that the 2 Spiderman flicks and the 3 Xmen movies were better.

RE: Ghost Rider AWESOME

While i haven't seen it yet (plan to this weekend) I have to also point out batman begins as potentially the best comic book movie to date (and i'm a marvel guy)... also, who can forget the blade movies, those were pretty fun in my opinion.

BEST TEST ANSWERS EVER!
"Who was responsible for inventing the cotton gin?"
"I'm unable to divulge that information as it may compromise our agents in the field."

"What was the date of Columbus' journey to the americas?"
"I do not believe in linear time, the past and future are one, existence in the temporal sense is illusionary... this question is therefore meaningless and impossible to answer."

I've seen a trialer for it, but it looks a tad corny. The Ghost Rider special effects looked a bit out of date really. Plus it has Nicholas Cage. Thats always a bad sign really.

RE: Ghost Rider AWESOME

I am not a great big comic book fan, and I vaguely knew who ghost rider was (hubby had a ghost rider poster that glowed in the dark, I thought it was cool...it's in a box somewhere now) but I can honestly say that I thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

I had my reservations when I heard Nicolas Cage was going to be ghost rider. But he was actually pretty good in it. The leading lady lent some eyecandy, tho her dresses were a bit too tight (I know, depends on who you ask). And I've decided I need one of those goth cloaks.

What really did it for me was the reflection of him fresh from the shower--hose me off cause I'm on fire!

Ghost Rider would win. Here's how it would go:

An unsuspecting Johnny Blaze pulls up into an alleyway. As he puts the kickstand down on his bike, he feels the change starting: Ghost Rider emerges as he senses the presence of the nearby Hellspawn. Spawn looks on mystified as he sees Blaze burst into flames before his eyes. He decides to attack before the transformation is complete, but its too late: the Ghost Rider has taken over. Spawn catches his opponent by surprise and wraps his chains around Ghost Rider, lifting him up into the air. Ghost Rider uses his penance stare, forcing Al Williams aka Spawn to see all the evil he's done in his life. Spawn wets himself as he curls into the fetal position, overwhelmed by the evil deeds he's commited. Ghost Rider slowly walks over to Spawn and while he's crying on the ground like a little baby, he chops off his head and sends Spawn back to Hell. Johnny Blaze goes home and watches cartoons.

:P

*Edit - Let me just say that I've always been a big Spawn fan, especially when McFarlane came out with the cartoons on HBO back a few years (have 'em all on tape). So I'm not biased, even thought I'm also a big fan of Marvel. I just GR's got the edge on this one, as bad@ss as Spawn is.

The Xmen movies rocked!!!, at least the last 2 did...

Let's not forget about Sin City. I'd have to say that may be #1, with much competition from Blade.

Infernal Storm fire/energy/fire blaster
Cosmo Crush energy/energy/force blaster

and many more...

RE: Ghost Rider AWESOME

Ghost Rider was less than great.

A mediocre performance from all the actors (a movie like this really depends mostly on the effects anyways, so this didnt detract TOO much from the overall quality.)

The Graphics did look a touch out of date, but i realy dont feel like that detracted from the overall movie either.

A lot of interesting things happened throughout the movie, and did it seem to anyone else that for the elite cadre of rejected angels for Blackheart to congregate was extremely weak? the Rider just sorta took care of them no problemo...

The plotline even seemed kind of... bleh. A whole lot of evil versus evil, and fighting over souls and whatnot...

I just didnt find it to be too good, but i dont think it was a total waste of my worthless time either,

Thanks to Death Fetish for kicka$$ siggy!!!
