Hello everyone
I hope you guys might help me on this. I am experimenting a bit with making a frag movie, and therefor I am looking for the UTcomp hitsounds files. I want them as avi´s if possible. Can anyone help with this?

Why would you want sounds as avi... just use the wav or whatever and import it into whatever program you're using. I don't know where the hitsound is, it's embedded into a file somewhere.
It's not enough to succeed, others must fail.

Open a command prompt and navigate to the UT2004 System directory, then type the line that Saito posted above. At least I think that's what you need to do.

Can't you just open one of the Utcomp files with UE and extract it? I did that with the headshot sound once and it worked and was quite easy, then again it was an official file so I'm not sure if it works. Just try opening every utcomp file with UE.
