| What Server and Char Build? |
I am starting to get a decent feel for this game and how its played. I know there is no magic build that owns everything and that they all have their own place. BUt in all honesty, I am looking for the most widely used build for farming gold and green/rare items. Also, should I be playing on Factions, or nightfall? Which one has the best places to do these types of runs? Thanks in advance for your help.

My opinion would be in Nightfall. It's new and the hottest thing in so far as sought after items.
As for a location, the sought after items are gems from the Domain of Anguish along with the drops that are unique to that area along with chest loot.
Good luck.

If your main goal in GW is farming, then I would suggest starting an elementalist. They are a fairly easy character to learn, they do tons of damage in PvE and there are literally about 100 spots you can farm with it in both Factions and Nightfall. The build I've been seeing quite often lately is the Assassin/Elementalist Solo Green Farmer. I run this build alot, but in reverse. I use an E/A. It does loads of damage and gives quick kills to bosses. I also use several variations of E/Me and E/Mo depending on where I'm farming and whether I want to kill everything around the boss, or just the boss. I would suggest looking around on the GuildWiki website for different farming builds. Keep in mind that most of the builds listed work really well, but with just some minor tweaking, they work even better. At last count, I think the Solo Green Farmer was able to kill around 90 different bosses throughout Factions and Nightfall without any modifications. The build takes a little bit to get working just right, but once you're comfortable with it, it's pretty mindless. I'm not going to post a link to the build because you should be able to find it fairly easily on GuildWiki. You don't want me to do everything for you....do you?
