If we can customize our weapons, why not our shields. When customized they could give us like an extra -1 dmg, or +15 health, etc. Anyone else would like to see this???

I've always wanted to see more options added to the 'customization' feature for quite some time now. The +20% weapon damage customization is so dated.

We can already change sheild mods on Nightfall-dropped sheilds, just fyi.

it would be nice to see extra stuff added to customisation as when u think about what is the point in customising a staff u dont use it for the damage u use it for the half recharge of spells etc
and shields would be good for customising maybe not add +health or anythin like that just +20% armour etc or somethin like that somethin that affects the main thing of a shield not its addons

i would love to see the weapon NPCs to have customizing and decustomizing so we can reuse the items on other chars if we want.

You are talking about shield modding with inscriptions and handles. Im talking about bringing a shield to a weaponsmith, paying your 10 gold and having it customized to you for an added bonus.

I agree with you. When customizing a caster weapon there should be options of for example +5 energy, or +20% half cast/recharge, etc.

I agree with that...
I have 2 bows on my ranger I never use and would love to sell but i can't they have been customiced...
So I think Anet should make a decustomizing buttom or something...
It could cost 500gp to do that.

They could do that, but I think if they did that it should cost around 10p instead of 10g.

Yea i agree and if anet does add one its not gonna be cheap but 500 is reasonable.

I really don't think they should add a way to decustomize a weapon. It just doesn't make sense. That is the entire reason customizing a weapon is so powerful, and so cheap. There has to be a cost, and that is losing the ability to sell the weapon again, or use it on another char. Basically, I just don't see it happening, so I wouldn't get your hopes up. If you intend to use the weapon on another char, don't customize it in the first place.
