| No experience from Missions |

I put this here because it's an Ascalon mission we're talking about...
So, I made this ranger in Elona, ran her to Ascalon and did the Great Northern Wall mission. Nothing fishy huh?
Now, my question is:
"Why in godsname don't I get experience from the Mission + Bonus?"
It was the first time I did it with that Character.

the same happened to me when i did the exact same with my sin but the strange thing is if you have a tyrian character and do elonian/canthan missions you get the xp from the missions so i dont really get how that works
I must use my staff powers only to annoy.

thats odd...maybe you didnt see the xp being given or something all i can say is check how much xp you have and see if it inscreased alot.

Nonono, I needed 600 more xp for level 16 and when I did bonus it said: + 0 xp and my level is still the same.

ITS NOT A BUG!!! =p they did that for like the first few missions in ascalon i think.... any non tyrian character doesn't get xp from i think the firs 3 or 4 missions......

no idea but if it was a bug im sure they would of picked it up by now because i tried this when factions first came out and its been out a while now so..

It's not a bug, Anet said that foreign chars dont get exp for starter missions ob both Tyria and Cantha.

You don't get xp from the missions in Ascalon area and Northern Shiverpeaks IIRC if you are a canthan or elonian. It's because the story line or something.

Its because you get into the game from the moment the storyline in propechies is in lions arch;) al before that has already happend;)

Oh, yeah that's right. You can't do any foreign quests on starter island(s) or Ascalon. That way you can't get skills from the beginner quests.
