So I was bouncing around the CoH forums and I saw some pretty interesting questions.
1) What is everyones favorite badge title? (orginal post was fav exploration but I expanded)
2) Statesman posted that when SG Bases come out we will be able to build or rent when we pull the SG influence together. So once we get SG bases where would you like to have your SG Base?
3) What little feature would you like to see implemented into the game? Not grand scale items but small features that would help in general game play.

1) Blackhawk: Justice Avenger, Silent Sentinel, or Indestructable
Cant remember the rest: Will post when I check them out!
2) I love Talos but its so crowded. Talos is ideal because you have access to two ferrys, the green line, FF, and you can go thru Skyway to get to yellow line. Plus it has a PvP arena being built there. Plus its the middle range area for heroes.
3)I would love the ability to search SG that are game online. That way I could find the group, then a member online to ask who need to talk with to join or maybe a large SG team ups. Maybe even a window chat that allows you to have SG friends. Maybe Paragon City Vigilant Watch wants to be in Alliance w/ The Triumphant Heroes of Gameamp.com. I would love to be able to have a SG Friends box and be able to chat to all the members in the group.

1) Shyvver - Frozen Fury (it fits his character)
Geoff Matthews - VIP (I didn't go badge hunting with him)
Flaming Avenger - Cold Warrior (it's my only character WITH the cold warrior badge)
2) Kings Row - I know the area well and it's low enough level where people won't get killed walking around.
3) Lower Level Dual Origins that are kinda tough to get. (Like, only get the Dual Origin for doing a big mission on the highest difficulty slider)

Not sure if you know this but when you complete story arcs in your 15-20 something you get a reward that is a DO. I think you get your 1st DO story arc reward somewhere near 14 or 15. When you get higher they become SO's. Plus with story arc completion you get a huge XP and Influence bonus. I love that.

1) Mr. Rictus likes both Dark Mystic and Devilfish. The Big Red Hurt is partial to Tank - It's simple and to the point, much like he is.
2) I like Talos too, but other than that I dig Skyway for some reason. I just do.
3) I would like to see the COH website have a list of character names and the server they play on. I have played on other massively multiplayer games and seen it done, and if nothing else this would be handy for naming a new character.
Also, not that it would help in gameplay, but I would like to see wings. Feathers, bat wings, metal, fairy, dragon, dragonfly... and I'm not even talking full animation. Small flutters much like what they do with capes would be cool.

Favorite Badge: it depends on the nature of the character. For Emerald Sword, a nature based concept, I like Backwoodsman. For Earth Maul, my stone/stone tanker, I like Geologist. For Arkane Master, my Fire/Fire Blaster, I like Parapsychologist. I will also use that for Nyarlethotep, my Dark/Dark Scrapper. A good default badge is Expert though. Most people don't chase that and it helps newbies know they can talk to you.
Bases: I am not sure I will bother with a base, it depends on the advantages. My SG on Champions is just my local friends (various alternates for each), so unless you get an Influence bank vault or you are in danger if you do not use a base, I will probably save the effort and stay without one.
Small Addition: I hadn't thought about it until I responded to the base question, but an Influence Bank Vault would be nice. Where you could store and transfer Influence from one member of a supergroup to another. In RP terms, it is like Batman has all the influence and Robin has none, but Robin can use Batman's influence if he needs it since everyone knows they are a team. Due to the maximum Enhancement levels you can have, it can not be too much abused. A risk may be that if you have the Vault in your Base, it might be robbed if your Base is attacked.

Very smart idea. I like it alot. Maybe you could set your SG up to have weekly dues. Nothing too big, maybe 100 inf. a week or something.

1. Not really sure about badges yet, don't have alot. I do like frozen fury, and indestructable.
2. Hollows or Perez park. I like to be close to the action. HEHE
3. I would like to see a seeking SG menu, kind of like the team seek menu. That way if someone is looking to join a SG, they can post there name there, and take tells. I also wouldn't mind seeing necklaces and rings.

As most of my characters are troubled heroes, I like Hellspawned and Summoned. I like to consider them my own attempts at dealing with my inner demons.
I like the idea of the Bases in Talos as listed before because of the accesibility, but it would be nice to have them in several for the RP'ers and such. I have a friend that always likes to end the night in Boomtown because of the dark nature of his character, and he has one of the buildings with a smoldering chunk taken out of it as his "Cave". I doubt the security zones will be considered though because of the limited accesibility.
As for a feature, inventory banking for at least your own characters on a particular server. My main is the cash cow for all of my alts, and influence transfer is a pain in the but. I did find a little trick to making it go faster though. Instead of trading 99999, just do 90000. It goes faster. I also farm enhancements for my friends when available, and it would be nice to stuff those enhancements into storage on another character easily, and retrieve them easily to keep my enhancement tray clear. That might be a BIG change, but my 2 inf on it.

My fave badge to go for is the Minotaur badge in Talos, I take all my new heroes there as a rite of passage...plus its funny to get tells from all the high level heroes wondering what the hell I'm doing swimming in Talos bay. LOL!
My choice of bases, if we can do it would be Dark Astoria, I love that area and think it would be cool to have a base of operations there.
Small addition to the game? Hmmm, everything I've wanted is about to be added in the next two issues...costume updates, weapon additions and cross server chat. Other then those, the only thing I really want is to be able to move heroes to different servers, and not a one time move, I want to be able to pick up and move anytime I want, Heroes change and so do people you play the game with, there are at least 3 heroes on servers I don't play on any more that I would like to bring over to other servers and introduce to a new bunch of people I am playing with now...mainly you guys, but, they are stuck in a far away galaxy of another server.

let's see... some of my favorite badges.. Statesman's Pal... (for killing Tryant)I like Unbreakable...Doctor... since Gypsy (if you could read her Info is a real Doctor)...Master of Olympus... I helped a low lvl Kheldian get that one... he wears it all the time... he likes haveing people ask how he got it... (for killing Kronos titan)
Where'd I have my base... I'd want it in Founder's Falls... it's pretty there... But Talos is a logical location...Talos or Steel Canyon. It would be neat if at the beginning of your SG you could start out with a base in like Atlas... then as you got higher move it to Sky... then to Talos....Peregrine.. etc.it's also be really cool if you could have multiple bases... like one in Atlas and one in Talos fo the various lvls.
I would really like something along the lines of the Group "bank"... BUT I want us to be able to store ehancements there too... Like have a personal acct. and a SG acct... so if you get an enhancment (like those lovely SO and DO drops) but they're too high for you to use... drop it off in your personal acct. and save it for when you need it.. instead of it taking up space on your bar. Also the Group acct..for a similar reason... I get a crap load of Training and DO's at my lvl... not as many SO's as I should... Now I usually will run around some of the lower lvl towns (if I'm there) and randomly drop one on someone. BUT if I had a vault for that then some of the lower lvl characters could benifit from my experience... it's better than giving them $... if there's a lvl 2 that needs to buy new ehancers... all they'd have to do is go to the vault... pull out a couple of lvl 50 training... and they can be SET for $. Make it so like if you're only slotting training.. then you can only remove training... etc... and also if I toss something in there you need... you don't have to buy it.

1) With Darkpool: Seeker of the Unknown, Silent Sentinel
2) I'd like to see it in Steel Canyon, myself. Acessable from both Green and Yellow lines, with direct connections to Atlas, PP, and IP, all high-traffic zones.
3) I want a souvinier system for the SG bases. Something that heroes can display their achievements in.

1) Archmage, Flawless Mystic, or Mystic King.
2) Silver Lake (in the building with the spire across the street from the lake).
3) New emotes like Lay Down, Eat Popcorn, Dunce Cap, Fire Barrel, Soap Box, Pushups, Situps, Feed Birds, Clean Guns, Sharpen Axe, etc. You can never have too many of these, and they are not so hard to animate. I also wish they would add more dances and give us a way to pick the one we want on purpose.

2: Right upstairs from the rave. Is it a zone, or is it a door somewhere?
3: Animals. Ducks in the lake, fish in the bay, cats to trip over, dogs in the junk yard, pigeons pooping on Talos's head...

There is one like it across the street from Silver Lake, too. I think there's at least a dozen of them.
Anyway, if you could pick anywhere at all for your headquarters, I would want mine to be an aerie accessible from the wide ledge near the top of the one by the lake. Of course, picking the door is the best we can hope for in the game, so just having it in that building and saying which floor its on will have to do.

I foufn out something interseting the other day.... which might explain why they're not more emotes... there is only 1 animation guy at Cryptic... everything done for this game... dhe did it.. SO adding new emotes.... while it seems easy enough if you've got a whole team wotking on it... welll it's just this one guy... doing everything.. for everything.
I found it interesting since I once had ambitions to be come a Computer Animator :)

You know...if you don't like an idea, that's one thing, but this is the second time I've seen you ridicule someone else's idea because it's something you don't agree with. I personally love the idea of new emotes as I consider this game just as much of a social environment as it is an action environment.

1: Secret Admirer. I love having one.
2: Right by a dance party entrance, especially in Steel.
3: I like emotes too (I'm voting 5 for everyone that likes them just cause of Junko), but I really want more variety for characters. How about if that animation guy just adds more chest symbols? That would take hime, like, 5 min and we all want more to choose from. More hair styles would be great, too, and I'd like female large-frame so I can play a monster-woman like She-Hulk sometime. (But not green - ick!)

Personally, I thing both ideas are cool. They both make the game more real. Neither of you is dumb at all!
My own answers to the quiz are
1 isolator because it looks cool and lots of people dont know it exists. I also like imagining the look on their faces when i tell them you have to get it in tutorial! *evil villin laugh*
2 Any zone that has all 5 SO shops. What else do you need?
3 more faces and skin colors to choose from or really anything in character creation to choose from. It would be cool to be able to add text to the chest of my character to.

Ok things have changed for me since last I posted this:
1) Badge: The Blackhawk who is a MA/SR scrap uses "Untouchable". But for some reason enemies have been touching me and when they do I been dropping like mad.
2) I still like Talos Island. Its the middle level for all heroes 20-29. Access so to Skyway City (which goes to 3 hazards: PP, Hollows, and Fault + access to the yellow line). Ferries to PI and Striga, road to FF. An arena being built there for that great PvP. Plus all stores (for selling) and multiple contacts in one area.
3) Emotes (which we have a cool thread w/ ideas) and small visual effects: I would love to see weather but supposedly is big stuff. Maybe some new animations for characters when standing around.

So, it seems Junko struck a nerve somewhere when he called my idea dumb.
That's OK. He's expressing his honest (I hope) opinion of my idea, which is his right. Just as long as he doesn't call ME dumb, I have no problem with that. This is, after all, a place for expressing opinions, isn't it? I don't feel flamed.
