I need to do some French Revolution Food for a history project, and i cant find any recipes anywhere preferably deserts or something. i need between 1789 and 1815. thanks!

sorta stupid but a cake, for the quote misattributed to Marie Antonette.
Or maybe Brioche, but in all honesty who does want to eat bread.
Last stupid idea, maybe some fake grass made out of green licorice or something in reference to the The French Revolution: A History by Thomas Carlyle, in which, I believe a French aristocrat is reportedly beheaded and then his mouth is stuffed with grass, in response to him saying that the peasants should eat grass.(This scene would be mentioned in Dicken's A Tale of Two Cities).
EDIT: Not a cook so I have no recipes, merely ideas.
