My 50 blaster elec/ice/ice is getting stale and I was wondering about switching him to a PVP build. He has all elec attacks except short circuit and from ice he has chilblain, build up and ice patch. He has taken the following powers from pools; Hover, Fly, Swift, Health, Stamina, Stealth, Boxing, Tough, Weave. He also has all 4 powers from the Ice Epic. What can I change for a PVP build?

I don't have a elec/ice but i have a PVP blaster.
for general build. get ride of fly all together. take Super jump for acro, you can keep the tough and weave cuz Weave with Acro is verry nice. but drains end being all 3 toggles.
get rid of Ice epic and take Force mastery. You will love PFF and FON. Your ice second will have enough control powers for the build.. Let me know if you need help slotting.

I don't have my builder in front of me atm, but I'll give ya some pool advice at least. Elec is a pretty solid damaging set, but it's animations are kinda on the long side, making it less useful. Seeing as you've already done 50 levels with him, I'm sure you already know this and are used to it. Ice Manip is not the best secondary, but it does have Build Up, which is essential for PvP.
Assuming you plan on soloing and won't have a pocket Empath to help ya out, I'd plan on having Build Up, Aim, Hasten, Super Speed, Combat Jumping, Super Jump, Acrobatics, Swift, Hurdle, and Stamina in the build by level 30, for Siren's Call. If possible, try to get Stimulant and Aid Self in by 30 as well, if at all possible. If not, get em in by 38, for Warburg. Snipe's are not necessary, so you don't have to worry about Zapp. Get one or two strong melee attacks from your secondary, I think you get Frozen Fists and Ice Sword in somewhat early. From your primary, get your first two "quick" attacks, and one slower, stronger attack. Your nuke can be nice in Warburg and RV to help with Masterminds and Dominator/Controller pets, as well as to be a strong attack to finish off a foe thats at half health. The big advantage of it is that it's ranged, so you don't have to be right next to a foe to use it. For an epic set, keep Ice. Frozen Armor gives solid defense to smash/lethal, as well as resistence to cold damage, which is common for Corruptors, and opposing Blasters in Warburg, to use, with its quick animations and solid damage, as well as it's slows. Hibernate is also a solid power to have, as it essentially phases you out for 30 seconds and restores you to full power as well. It makes for a great escape power.
As far as slotting goes, I don't know what Hami's you have access to, if any, so I'm going to give SO advice, and leave any Hami options in parentheses. Slot all of your attacks with 2 Acc, 3 Dam, and 1 Recharge. AoE attacks like Ball Lightning, if you choose to go with that, should get an End Redux instead of a Recharge. If you go with Hami's, slot Dam/Range in place of the Dam SO's. For your nuke, slot 3 Rech, 3 Dam (Dam/Range). Build Up and Aim each want 3 Rech and 3 Tohit (or the Rech/Tohit/Def Hamis). Hasten gets 3 Recharge. SS and SJ will just use the base slot for speed, unless you have a couple spare slots for an end redux in one or both (also, the Travel/End Hami can really help alot). Slot CJ with Jump in the base slot, and if you can find extra slots, put more Jumps into it. Hurdle and Swift will definitely want 2 slots, 3 if you can find em, for Jump and Run, respectively. This will help combat Travel Power Suppression and keep you moving in a fight. Stimulant doesn't need slotting, just an Interupt in the base slot. Aid Self wants 3 Heal, 2 Int Redux, and a Recharge in it. With that slotting, just stop moving a moment, pop it off, and get going as soon as you see green numbers. With practice, it's easy to do. Acrobatics will want at least 2 End Redux, 3 if you can do it.
If you need any other advice, feel free to ask. No guarantee's that I'll be on all that often, given various RL issues I have atm, but I'll be sure to try to help ya out as much as I can when I'm on.

Warron Peace,
That's interresting on the pool powers for Blasters. I was thinking the same, except instead of hasten I was gonna get (fighting pool) just for the defense it offers, for my blaster but would the speed pool , just wanting hasten, be worth giving up all the defense that the fighting pool offers,.... HHMMMM.....not sure!!
I'm still thinking about that one. I still need to do a respec to get it fix anways, I have time, unless I do the respec tomorrow.
