I9 closed beta has hit the Test Server

For those looking to connect to the Training Room Test Server, you should be aware that the server is currently being used for a closed beta test of Issue 9: Breakthrough!

While anyone can connect and patch to the server, when you go to select a character, if you are not part of the closed beta, you will not be able to actually log that character into the server.

The closed testing is not expected to be long; perhaps lasting into mid-March. The actual duration of closed beta will depend on how testing proceeds. Once closed beta ends, Issue 9 will be on the Training Room for anyone who wants to check it out and provide feedback for several weeks of additional testing and tuning.

Looks like we could see i9 very soon on the Test Server, at least for those of us that did not get into the closed beta. I guess it is time to start running my hero and villian highbies around making more inf for me to spend.

Man it's crazy to think thank that Issue 8 just hit and now Issue 9. Now if we can just get a epic for villians. Cool thought thanks for info.

I'm hoping its something new, but if it follows the trend ... recycled hami, rececle Epics. i can already get khelds, if they want to keep "veterans" they need something new. One of the draws of having both sides is variety, too much recycling and it gets old fast. need some hero love. we get GV they get faultline, we get mayhem they get safegard, we get resf they get states tf and a new zone which keeps us further behind, theyve had much longer for hamis we finally get a way but they need another way to be fair and more TS grrrrr rant rant rant
