Hi all,
I know there are some really good base building guides out there which I have read and have been very helpful in getting the Frost Champions first base set up. I was wondering if there are any guides or threads regarding item building from the workbenches. I tried to make our first teleporter, but got a raid teleporter instead, even though the description says it is to tp to trial zones. Do you need to have the beacons first before you make you a basic teleporter?

you should be able to build a basic teleporter without beacons to attack to it.
maybe you just clicked on the wrong TPer.

That was my experience too. Make sure your under the right tab in the base building window. If I remember correctly it actually says teleporter on the tab.
