Up until now i haven't bothered to use sigs because i havn't had a decent image editing package to use. Now i do and i wos wondering how i use them. I see the add sig tick box when i reply to topics but i am not sure how to enter the code for my sig.
If anyone could help that would be great.
Thanks

There's no code necessary bud, just type the signature that you want there...

in the top right hand corner of your screen there should be the section that lets you know if you are logged in and it should have your Gameamp forum name underneith your avatar, click the name and you should be taken to your profile page, when the page has loaded click on account information.Scroll down until you find the signature section, you will then need to have the code for the signature you have hosted with a hosting website such as imageshack, when you have done this click the little option that says Img C&P the link into here and hit ok then scroll down a little bit more and click save information and if youve done it correctly your signature should appear when you post if you need me to explain any step please let me know :)

As Stranger said, you go into your profile and edit it - there's a signature spot.
As for making signatures, Paint, Photoshop, etc work for some design. I use Photoshop because it's a whole lot better than paint for me, though my current is a mix of Photoshop and Flash... Check some tutorials for Photoshop on gamerenders.com (under Forums, Tutorials, Graphics Tutorials) and perhaps download the trial off Adobe.com if you're interested in trying some stuff.
