Just spent the day doing the new Statesmans TF on the test server. For the most part it was a lot of fun. But there were three glaring faults. One was a bug, that will be easily fixed soon I hope (A dorrway in the beginning of Mish does not open and we had to get a dev to unlock and complete the mish for us.) The second was the part of the TF where you find the security chief. This got so long and drawn out that it was almost painful. finally the worst part of the TF was defeating the signature villains. We could not get past Ghost widow. This needs the difficulty to be turned down a lot. We were not even denting her. It was totally ridiculous and just set at a difficulty level way to high. We ended up quitting at that point. BTW, the way this works is you defeat the signature villains then take on recluse himself, but we could not get that far. One of the teammates said we could have done it with another rad and a blaster or two. Team selection WAS a little spotty , but I think it was all that was around at the time. Basically it was myself on my tank, another tank, 3 trollers and 3 defenders. None of which was a rad, but still, I think we should have been able to take her down any way you slice it. It was a good time up until that point really. With a few tweaks, this should be a fun TF, but it was a little long for my tastes, especially to NOT be able to finish it.

Err the idea is that its suppost to be hard like, and seriously how do you expect to dent them with 3 trollers, for a start you cant really hold them. To be fair these TF's are biased towards damagers, if you wana put a dent in the sig villains by all means take at least 2 blasters and at least 2 scrappers next time. Have you ever ran the Recluse SF?
(i admit im no where near being able to do either but yeah...)
Id ask for a little more info but that would be a spoiler, so hush hush :P

I've run plenty of TF's and like I said , I didn't set up the team. But In my opinion, any team of 8 should be able to get through it, not be stopped by 1 AV. Especially after spending all day doing it. Like someone on the team said "A challenge is one thing, but this is ridiculous."

the reward is a Hami-O enhancement or a SO i guess. probably a salvage or recipe for inventions too.

As i figure it, you just released classified information on the Statesman TF BEFORE you're allowed to...

no, the test server is/was closed for limited number of people to test the TF and other i9 stuff.

You know that little box that popped up when you first logged onto the test server? That was the NDA and as soon as you clicked "OK" you effectively "signed" it.

if you've ever tried to take the AVs in RV you know that you MUST have rad debuffs to beat ghost widow. she has, if im not mistaken, 2 slef heals...definately at least a siphin life-esque power that heals for an insane amount since shes an AV. i dont find it odd at all that 2 tanks, 3 trolls, and 3 defs couldnt dent her. since the gm/av buff, rads are a must have in all these encounters and that was the whole point. the devs thought the rads were underused so they their forcing their necessity. fortunatley i lvl a rad/rad def to 50 because of this so i can't wait for STF to go live :D:D

Yeah if I was doing this with my SG it would not have beena problem, as we have one at 50 also.
