When i talk to the Hero skills npc, do i have to give him anything to teach my heros new skills, or is it free?
If it is free, i have a lot of skill unlocking to do..

You need hero skills points which u get from leveling lightbringer and sunspear ranks. GL!

I am a sunspear general right now and halfway in getting to castellian. How does the sunspear/lightbringer points for hero skill work?

It's like 2-3 points per rank for sunspear, 3-4 for lightbringer i think.

No, but they're accountwide so you can just make new chars and farm the daylights out of them if you feel like it.

If you talk to a hero skill trainer it says how many hero points you have to spend (if i remember correctly).

I don't think I've actually _used_ any of my hero points. I either purchase the skills I want the build to have, or cap the elites. Cuz honestly, you never know if eventually you're going to have a character of that class, and you'll want to have those skills handy. :-)
Oh, and any elite that you've unlocked account wide is available for your heroes to use.

yeah i know that elites are account wide. But when u buy them off hero skills, it unlocks them, without spending $ or skill points...

You can also unlock skills for your heros with Priest of Balthazar faction points.

woah!! I totally forgot about hero skill points. I think i have most skills unlocked either through priest of balthazar or on one of my characteres..lol.
