Today i bought Factions. Everything was alright until I putted the CD to my computer. On the cover of the CD is written GW Factions, but when i ran the CD it has shown off that it's a GW Nightfall CD. If I'd Enter the Factions actvation code, would the game run without inslalling?

yes you only need one of the GW CD's in order to play guild wars, after that all you need is to add the access keys

That seems strange, but it's probably because the majority of what you install comes from online, so it's probably just because that Nightfall is the most recent campaign is Nightfall. Just proceed with the installation and you should be fine.

just go installling when i had factions and NF was about to come out they changed the inlog screen with the NF screen (I miss the old screen) so I think they changed it just like you said on your screen :)

I've seen such mistakes more often. Machines and people sometimes "fu". The key could be a non nightfall key, you should check that before you enter it. On the gamecard it says what the card is for.
The company where you bought it ought to exchange it for free when the key is not the right one for the game you bought.

i went to game stop to buy prof and the guy gave me an empty case haha i was about to pull outa 9 and bust a cap but i had second thoughts so i dident

You dont need any CD to install GW. All you need is the access keys. If you go to the GW homepage you can download the client then enter your keys. You actually dont need to install more then one chapeter the rest will download when you have access to it. Once you tie a key to you account it doesnt matter what you have installed what you need can be downloaded from the servers.
I reformatted my PC a while back and then downlaoed the client. I already had all my keys tied to my account so i had full access to everything, just took half a day downloading with a 6 MBps pipe at my disposal. I wonder what it would take now with my 10 MBps pipe :)

haha i thought the same thing 2...the title screen got me confused i was like im not playing nitefall...then i saw the add access key thing nd everything started 2 click

lol i went to buy nightfall and when i got in the car i popped the case open to take a look inside at the little book, and it was a factions package >.< i went right back in and the guy was really slow in trying to understand, i kept telling and showing him that i got Nightfall not factions and he kept on being dumb about it so he pulled out a bag with all the NF stuff for the case and we exchanged it, haha. I hate people in gamestop and EBgames, they are always snobby or try to tell you other things the YOU KNOW are wrong.

Why didn't you call them noobs, and told them that Grenth was coming for them? =P
