Euro server here so im not really bothered... we have favor so much that I have never had to wait :)
The ecto balance is gonna get out of control though... still I like the idea.

Yep...Euro here as well so no real change. I guess it'll be impossible to find a decent team tho.
I wouldn't bank on ecto prices dropping just because it doesn't cost to get it...they still have to drop you know!
Maybe they'll go up when EVERYONE tried to buy them cheap!!

Drop rates are not increased but more people get in. Its only a balance calc before the amount in 1 run will decrease.
I am not bothered by it though. Maybe this weekend people will get into UWteams again instead of solofarming. this weekend opens a whole new opportunity for those who havent been able to solofarm the UW and FoW. Teams and requests will arise and the GW community as a whole can try to clear out those areas.

You're kidding rigbt? Drop rates are effectively increased to the extent that more people will be farming those areas. A lot more, therefore there will be more ecto's on the market, therefore the price will go down. Now is a good time to sell if you have ecto's, imo.

Yea i know the feeling. It really helps if you got someone else to spur you on. I only got mine really because I had a guildy going for it at the same time, and we farmed the ecto's together. Will probably be spending a decent amount of time on UW this weekend with said guildy ^^

No seriously, the everyone will be farming more which means more ectos will go on the market, but the "free" entrance won't make a difference. I don't think it will be as drastic as the last time though with the x3 ecto drop rate.

I just want to ask why people havn't mensioned that the prices of Obs shards will drop aswell, if ecto go down to 1k each for example then obs shars will be 500g, MAX :S

Heh...this means I'll actually get to go in there. The 1k fee really turned me off to it, as I'd always aggro the Bladed Aatxes :p Maybe now I can work out a build to go in there with without worrying about losing 1k every 5 minutes :p

No need for that....worst case, you get a group of 7 others, and pay 125g for each entrance. Or you find a ranger, or warrior, solo farming....I've seen them often offer free chest-runs, cause it helps them get to their location, and they are going there anyway, so they dont lose anything.
Either way, I will probably do some UW runs to get used to some other solo builds.

I work midnights in Eastern Time...this means:
Before I leave for work, I see America get favor.
As soon as I get home, I see America lose it...usually to Europe.
And I'm going to be with my girlfriend in Toronto all this weekend...*sigh* they need to contact me before they schedule these things...I think I'm gonna cry.
