Do you think you should be able to choose which log in screen you have? I like the current Nightfall one, but I really liked my Prophecies one too, what do you guys/girls think?

I did like the old login screens but if you are talking about the character select screen then there is not enough room. There are too many character slots available to display all your characters at once.

What do you mean? I simply mean the 3D environments that were shown instead of the current NightFall one. I'm not talking about putting all the characters into one spot, having them appear as you select their icons is good enough for me. I wasn't around when Prophecies FIRST came out, but when I bought it it already had the Character Icon selection, and only the one you choose was showing, but instead of Nightfall (and at one time Factions) it was a nice background for Prophecies.
I just think that to add a little more customization to the game, you should be able to switch between those backgrounds, even though you only see them for about 10 seconds.

This has already been talked about, The Guild Wars staff say that the old Login screens are not compatable with the new vertions, they would have to totaly remake the backgrounds for them to work >_<.

yeah but then you would have to log in everytime you wanted to change character...
i agree that it would be nice to have the choice of background on the char selection screen, but in all fairness it is a minor detail,
but meh, i never really liked the look of the nightfall one to much, a loooooooot of puple in there... yep

I was not around during camp fire thing but I have seen pictures of it. I think it's neat and would think it be great for all my characters sitting around the camp fire. You select one and they stand up and can click Play.
So instead of facing all the characters.. You first login and a half top view of campfire and characters. Select One and camera zooms up while they are Standing up. Then you can Either Click Play or swivel camera around the Camp to see the rest of your characters.
Or
There is a larger camp where your characters are in different areas. Maybe some of your characters are by a fire or near the wagons. Heck maybe near that tree with a arrow in it. Darn you ranger and their target practice.
I like the first one though.

or if they were all riding space ships and you could see your charcster flying them around tyria, and when you scroled onto a diff char it zoomed to your other char flying that ship at some place over the current world theyre in... and then... and then... when you select the character you want you click on them and they shoot all the other characters down and theres a big explosion and parades and stuff...
