so i was just on my 10-day vacation to France (AMAZING, btw), and was mulling over a character concept for a psychic toon. i decided on making her a psychic blast defender, and going with FF cuz i could use more slots for attacks while still being useful. here's my plan for up to lvl 32....
La Psypathe (French for The Psychic, inspired by you-know-what-trip lol)
1- PFF/Psychic Blast
2- Deflection Shield
4- Psionic Lance
6- Subdue
8- Force Bolt
10- Psychic Scream
12- Dispersion Bubble
14- Swift
16- Telekinetic Blast(here now)
18- Hover
20- Fly
22- Health
24- Stamina
26- Group Fly
28- Psionic Tornado
30- ???(perhaps Ins. shield or will dom.)
32- Force Wall
instead of invis pool, i think i will need stamina. and i took group fly for concept, telekinesis and all that, and thought it would be helpful to levitate everyone in my bubble. also, i didnt get the travel power until later than usual because i have been able to make it to like lvl 22 or 23 with the two travel temps from the early safes. also, what should i get at 28 and 30?? i was thinking fitness, and taking out force bolt or something for swift earlier in the build, or even make her like Psylocke from X-Men and give her fighting or presence. so, yeah.

Force Bolt is generally looked down upon it seems. But I like it. If you have the room, take it.

yeah, i have found that as a troller or defender, it is nice to be able to knock a guy out of your face. but i was thinking maybe take it out for swift because i already have telekinetic blast doing knockback, with a similar recharge.

i was thinking about presence for the fear stuff later in my twenties, is it worth it? and what about psionic tornado?

I know lots of people don't like force bolt either, but I love it. Has a darn near 100% chance for knockback, even against bosses or higher level minions, and there's nothing like being able to get the baddie out of your face. Or like last night when I was playing with my FF/Dark def, we were running sewer reams and when we got to the tad too high Lost with the eremites trying to mind freeze us, I would start by knocking them down. I kept interrupting their attack chain. Oh, and it's much easier on end than TK.
Prescence has been ok in my opinion, but i hadn't used it as much as i though I would. Acc isn't so great and the fear factor isn't as long as primary/secondary sets.
Haven't had any experience with Psionic tornado at all.

Psionic Tornado tends to use up abit of endurance, but once slotted, and lined with enhancements, it's a nice group toss-up plus moderate damage AoE.

ok so i have changed some things about my build, and i am now lvl 16, and, (i know i sound like a heretic) i might be looking at o insulation shield.
