Create-Your-Event

Okey, I want you all to make up an new GW event ^_^
Like, let's say easter and it drops eggs, and when it's ended you can swap 250 Eggs for bunny ears.

And maybe some activities on the event aswell ^^

How about free Ecto Day!!!(sounds good doesn't it) ectos can be bought at shop for 10% of original price. and you have a 250% extra on an ecto drop

Mr Potato Head day...

You collect random dropped body parts and can put them together to make a completely original minipet or set of 0AL armour. Totally useless so completely in the spirit of in game events!

Anyone got any serious suggestions? Remember, you never know, this stuff might get read by those who control such things :)

I think I'd like to see something to do with Domain of Anguish for a weekend event. I've been in there a couple of times but really not found it to be that rewarding for the time put in etc, maybe more of an incentive to try it out would be cool. Double Gem drops anyone? :P

I think a nice weekend would be an Alliance Battle free for all!

No matter what campaign you have or if you're guildless you talk to an NPC in a major city and you are transported to either the Luxon or Kurzick side of a battle. Also double luxon/kurzick faction and triple balthazar faction would go down well.

It could really revitalize ABs, they gould even whack a few new AB maps.

they should have a banquet weekend, where you get tuxedo armour for the lads, and night gowns for the ladies. then you have to do some quests for items that will give you

a) a top hat
b) a tiara

kinda like the new year avent where you had to get food for the meal for the pig...

meh, i just want my character running around in a tux

I'd like to see tournaments for the different classes: the idea would be to illustrate and celebrate the diverse strengths among them. The event would center around PvP, but new environments would be used for each class. I'd like to see a colleseum-like structure for Warriors; a dueling platform for mesmers (like the long, table-like stage in Harry Potter); an obstacle-filled arena for Rangers to do pet fights in.... etc. Each event would last just one day, but could have special bonuses for characters of the day's theme even if they didn't play the mini game: maybe something like additional xp gained from enemies in PvE (I'm not big into extra drops, as I feel like that messes w/ the economy too much). I think this would be a great event for lower-lvl characters and new players in general, especially if spectating is allowed: it would give people practice and a chance to really focus on learning how to use the skills of their primary class. And if ANet throws in a little prize at the end (I'm thinking a hat, since those items were the most popular in the holiday events) then all the newbies will have something to commemorate the experience (well.... and the veteran players too - trophies are always appreciated, regardless of experience. :-)

and you get the free "black-eye" event hat/mask...
