Hello again.

Sorry I've not checked in here for a while... :(

Just wanted to chime in on the new Enhancement System. I rather like it, and think it's a positive direction for the game to take. A lot less "cookie cutter" builds will now be perfectly viable, and allow for a lot more flexability in how you build your characters.

Just wondering if anyone else out there had the same feeling. :)

Anyways, good to be back.

RE: Hello again.

Yes, my cleric lost about 60 mana. But, overall, I rather dig it. He is much stronger now and able to heal alot more effectively using less mana.

RE: Hello again.

I too took a nice break, both from the boards and DDO itself, but I'm getting back in line. I LOVE the new enhancement system!

In my opinion, this system should have been implemented before DDO was released. The old method made very little sense if you actually broke it down the way you would for a pen and paper character: You've been adventuring for a really long time, and a trainer helps you learn this really cool new ability, but if you want to learn another ability then you'll have to forget this one entirely." The new method is great. You have a certain number of points that you get to spend, and all the abilities have a respective point cost, and prerequisites. Once you learn it, it's all yours.

Of coarse, they were nice enough to give us the "unlearn" option, to let us scrap an idea and try to rebuild the character without having to reroll the character and start from level 1. :)

Just for reference, I am playing on server Lhazaar and I am the original creator of the guild "Legacy of the Fallen." =D
