Freedom's Filled With People!

So my friend and I usually play on triumph but when we got into the late 30's we were having a harder and harder time getting a team. So we moved to his alt sever Freedom. He said that there was more people in it than triumph. When i created my charatacter in Atlas the very instant i longged on i was invited into a sewer team. I have to tell ya i was amazed. There was 11 FILLED sewer teams going down at the same time. And more coming. The point of the story is this: If u are tired of your sever cause you cannnot get a team or you have made someone mad; Come over to freedom!You will not be dissapointed, promise. (execpt from the insane lag that happens in Atlas)

My main is on Freedom and you take the good with the bad. I get invited to teams almost every time I sign on, so if I am up for a team I don't wait long. But there are certain areas (Atlas Park under Atlas and the train in Talos) where the lag can get really bad.

missing a team in the 30s? you must not be in the gameamp alliance because we have been running a bunch of toons thru the 30s for a few weeks now.

I decided to play Freedom when I began giving COV a workout. The teaming has been great, although my first experience grouped me with a few toons with the very attitudes you referenced.

In discussion about supergroups, I had to defend myself after being called a 'poser' by several team mates because I used the free trial to create a villain group of only my toons. I was amazed by the mere notion of offending others for this self-serving act because my purpose for a super/villain group and base was not in line with theirs.

Outside of that incident, interaction has been relatively harmless. Although, since contact with more personalities is the norm, quirky situations are not foreign.

On a side note, the topic of single player-multialt supergroups may be a nice conversation thread...

Hummm,

And oddly enough, you will find Whimcycle there, too. I putz about doing the odd Shadow Shard mission trying to reach 45 so I might run at least one Hami before the I-9 nerfing. Give a shout on the Gameamp.com channel.

I like Freedom. The high 40s to 50 were especially good there as there was always someone looking for help. Most of the people I teamed with at the higher levels were pleasant too. As far as differences between servers, I've found good and bad on just about every server. It might seem like there are more bad on Freedom, but there are also alot more people in general there. Personally, I think all the servers are really about the same.

yea, freedom imo has to be the best server, next to virtue, those 2 carry the most people at 1 time, fastest way to team and lvl characters. its too bad though, would like to see the other servers get popular as well too

With the upcoming server transfer, I'm curious about how things are going to go. Freedom and Virtue are the two busiest servers, surely, but I'm afraid that a lot of people from the other servers are going to make the mistake of transfering over to them, which is going to cause some seriously bad traffic/lag when they do.

I'm kinda hoping that people will start spreading out a little bit once the server transfer comes about.

I've never been much for teaming, aside from a few missions now and then with Ampers or other friends from the real world, so a low population server is ideal for me.

I thought Lighthouse said that there is a small possibility that no one will be able to transfer to Freedom or Virtue, just off of it.

my two cents

I only have one toon on a busy server.

a rad/rad on freedom lvl 12

was fun, but honestly, I was just goofin around when I made her. I havnt utilized her in a several months.

I plan to only stick to Infinity (my home, full of friends) and Triumph. I dont think I would utilize the server xfer with anything. I have too much making a new toon, costume, and background, even if the builds are similiar. example: BODHI. Teaming is the most fun method of gaming for me. On Infinity, there is almost always someone on that I know.

I myself will not miss Freedom one little bit, as a soloist that takes a fair amount of grief for my prediliction to "lone wolfism" I'm rather happy to be on Triumph. I look forward to getting the toons that have been rotting on Freedom transfered to Triumph soon.

Aparently people aren't transfering off Freedom or Virtue, I was on Virtue with me one of my many alts, and when I was leaving a mission there was an option of two Atlas Parks

I for one would jump at the chance to get a couple of toons of Virtue. not all of them as a few have established SG's there but there are some that i would love to remake to play with you guys on Triumph and stuff like that but just don't want to go through the hassel of starting from scratch.

As far as freedom can't say i have had any bad exp personally but i have witnessed a few conversations in Broadcast where one guy is PL'ing his 4th account then in turn yelling at another for playing an "e-bay Warshade" I am sure not everyone on there is bad but it is the @$$holes that stick out like a sore thumb.
