Well its the day before the day, tomorrow the 30th LotRO Founders will be able to start playing Open Beta before the rest of the world is allowed to get into "Open Beta".
Just to pass some info on, Founder players will be able to carry over their Open Beta characters only but there is a level cap of 15 (so no already capped players before Live). After that you will no longer receive experience (thus taking away future quest). Monster Play is unlimited so you can rack up Destiny Points. Currently there are 7 servers that will be open:
Brandywine
Elendilmir
Gladden
Landroval
Meneldor
Silverlode
Windfola
Sounds like fun and cant wait to get started fresh and doing this for real. Hope to see many Ampers in game and keeping the forums here active. I would say once everyone starts to get going maybe we start a thread listing our characters and servers. Would be fun to group and talk on game.

One of the folks I grouped, during the last weekend of play, suggested banking quests (meaning doing the quest just not re-visiting the quest giver for the reward) for after the game goes live. I think that is a very good idea and I plan on doing that. Although I am going to focus alot on getting as many accomplishments done as possible, so that we the game goes live my traits are level'd up some.

Im not sure about banking quest but grinding away on all the stuff to get new traits is good idea. During beta I only did the ones were close to being done so like the neeks, spiders, wolves, and such I never finished up.
So now I will do that between leveling up some alts. I actually plan to do some Monster Play too. Get some destiny points because I found they help me tremendously when I was solo'ing some of the higher level enemies.
Today is the day! Time to play!

I am not playing this game yet I am watching it closely and I am very excited fo rmy friends that will be playing here on GameAmp and in real life. I really hope this game is a hit and has a long life. I really love some of the business approaches they have taken with this game like the lifetime subscription one time fee and being able to carry over your characters from the open beta is another bit o sweetness. :) Ok but what I am really looking forward to is some of the great screenshots from in game Amp'ers will be putting up here.
