Well i am tryin to get the survivor title but i have a question after i get to level 20 what happens if i die after gainer level 20 does the title go away???

You keep the survivor (1) title but you can't go on to try for (2) or (3) :)

Assasin are quite hard to get it with.
I am doing it with Rt and that's no problem :)
You can also do it with Paragon high armor + ranged :)

Second...im slowly doing this with all my 6 low level chars across all campaings.
Ranger,Necromancer,Mesmer,Elementalist,Assassin,Dervish.
Ranger is almost at Survivor(1) ^^

I think i'll will make an Ranger or Rt because the Ranger can stand in the back and the Rt can protect him/her self.

I got survivor on my Tyrian Ele with absolutely no problems, then I went to Factions and the overpowered Rt boss outside Senjis (Orosen) killed me in a single hit :/
It's easy enough to get on most ranged chars but sometimes you'll just get unlucky!

In my opinion, the average difficulty of surviving (assuming lv3, for the first level all are easy) by profession is
Easy: Paragon, Ranger (ranged, high armor, good defense)
Moderate: all caster classes (E, Me, Mo, N, Rt)
Hard: Dervish, Warrior
Very Hard: Assassin (unless running a critical Barrager build)
By campaign, from easiest to hardest the list is Ch1, Ch3, Ch2. Notice that in both Ch2 and Ch3 bosses do double damage. A prospective survivor should steer well clear of most ele and rit bosses there.

yes when you die after getting the title ytou cant get the next one, i lost my legendary about a week ago was 150k xp from having that title too, my ele is still indomitable but im gon restart to get legendary ...again...

Tips to becoming legendary survivor
its really fast if u know where to go or what to do
lvl 20 in 5-6 hrs
- the lightest characters to get LS are ranged professions such as rangers, ele, monks, mesmer, necro, ritualists
- start a character in cantha
- play through until in mainland
- from there go to LA
- from LA go to elona
- get the heroes
- got back to LA
- run to divinity coast
- let urself run or do mission with heroes
- ur prolly lvl 14-16 by the time u get to crystal desert
- do all 3 missions
- ascend in tyria by beating doppelganger for 50k bonus
- from lvl 16 u become lvl 20 ^^
- then cap cap cap elites ^^
- use protection skills if secondary profession provides it... eg mesmer illusion of weakness
- be careful of those ele and rt bosses specially in elona because they can be really nasty XD - acolyte jin as an interrupter would be a great help
- dont go to places that are unnecessary... eg capping Feast of Corruption which i did just because i wanted the challenge :P
- dont do missions alone if the mission is heavy mobbed like vizunah square in factions or sebelkeh in nightfall... if u have no other choice do it with guildies
- patience is key
- never ever farm alone... even though you are experienced u can still encounter rubberbanding... or if u quickly turn off GW its possible you will get disconnected from the server 30 secs later...
- i would only recommend melee characters for legendary survivor to experienced players... u can still fight with a longbow even if you are a warrior but IMO, i wouldn't deserve the title that way because i roughly played as a warrior... i played my assassin the way the profession to be... a melee class...

that's pretty sad :(. Anyways I had an assasin survivor R1 and now I got my Rt survivor (died against SF boss :p) but my goal was only rank 1. Don't need any higher :)

those meanie ele bosses are easy if u bring margrid or jin with broad head arrow and interrupts... i could cap SF, tuning earth, sandstom, etc... but like i said, dont do unnecessary things. there are other elites which are easier to cap... if u really want to get it ask a guildmate to help XD i helped 2 of my guildmates get their legendary survivor title with ele and nec

You can always use a monk. That is what I did, went fine until a newb W/mo aggroes an entire screen and I got spiked. I didn't just quit b/c I think that cheapens the title but oh well. The reason a monk is nive is that you can always make sure you get healed (well unless you get spiked lol).

im going for Legendary surviour with my paragon as well atm hes lvl 17 and bout 20-30k away from the first level but i dont usually play him so its taking quite some time to get him to even the first rank of it >.<

I think W/Mo is easiest to go for survivor (1)
I got that without problems, fast, and i dont even have max armor.n
Much faster and safer lvling 20+ is to find place where you can solo easily. My necro now 400k exp survivor, has only 3 elites. I just kill all Jade Brotherhood and Am Fah in pongmei valley and rezone. Pretty fast, and almost no risk(if there are not too much Am Fah necros or Jade Mesmers)
Stats: curse 11
domination 12 (or 11 if you havent completed atleast 1 attribute quest)
Enfleeble
Insidious Parasite
Empathy
Bachfire
Arcane Echo
Parasitic Bond (not neccecery)
anything
anything
And any item with atleast +10 energy.
Easy and fast. You can even kill assasin boss easily. But thats a secret (for now).
You get 1k exp for short and easy run(5-10 min) or about 5k exp for longer and more difficult run (30 min). And you get some very nice loot too.
Soon... Or never.
