Im at my grandfathers house and i just loaded Guild wars onto it...When i turn it on it seems to go VERY slow and has an almost constant lagg
...Also my mouse is messed up in GW...its fine when im not playing or when the screen is minimized or not maxamized but as soon as i maxamize the screen my mouse "disapears"
so that you cant see mouse...but if i moc=ve the mouse i can see it...while the mouse is moving it constantly flashes but as soon as it stops moving it dissapeers...any body techy/geeky enoough to help me?
And G-D said "Let There be Geek Squad!" and all the little Misfits in GW disappered

I wish my house could run GW that'd be sick xD. Maybe try loading it onto the computer? xD (I'm kidding)
It's probably a RAM issue (it's what it sounds like to me) it doesn't seem liek the computer is powerful enoguh to run it or there are too many processs running. Try clearing the startup and rebooting maybe turning off a virus scanner if there is one.

I would go with DirectX since what you have there looks like it's a hardware acceleration problem.
You can check this by going to:
Display Properties - Settings - Advanced (Button) - Troubleshoot
and turning the Hardware acceleration down a few notches.
Check your DX version anyway and update it, check and update your Gfx drivers. An onboard gfx chipset might give you problems with games.
Post the system spec to that we can get a better idea what we're dealing with!

Keo i just turned it on again and it closed itself and said sumthing about DirectX...im going to change that and see if it helps...and i dont know the system spec cause its not my computer...anyway to find out?

ok when i put down the hardware refresh it came up with sumthing that said...
"Please Verify that you have DirectX..."
and gave me this link

hm... maybe it's the graphics card. I'm not sure if it was displayed in the info you showed, cause if it was, I never heard of it. If it's not that, then i have no idea what it is.
Oh, and before anyone asks, yes I play wow, but I still play GW and kind of like it better, I just need to rework some things in my sig and avatar and I'm busy/lazy. Mostly lazy...

By the look of things you're running on the lower limits of what you need to play GW. The Rage 128 I think is now an on board card sharing the system memory or just a very old gfx board.
The rest of the system is borderline and I'd guess that if you play at home your PC is better than this one.

right now i hate ur grandfather...no seriously i do i run gw on one of the worst computers in the world...watever gws lowest req 2 play is wat i have, seriouly its that bad

your graphics card is not up to the task of running GW. It odes not meet the system requirements to run GW. The only shot of you playing GW at your grandpas house is to go into the options in the game and turn every setting as low as possible, and maybe play it in a "windowed version".
But if your able to play this at your house, then your grandpas computer is not better than yours. His is real old.

i cant play it on my comp verry well but my dads is great (He headed the defence system for Enron)
ah well...to bad im 1,500 miles away from my dads and my computer

k, I'm gonna asume your kidding, cause if your not, your an idiot ;)
But back on topic, since it is your graphics card, if you are going to be their a while, or go there often, then you might be well served by getting a $70 graphics card. I know it sounds like I'm messin with ya, but thats what mine costs last I checked (it's an ATI Radeon X300/550 so correct me if I'm wrong). It's a great card that can run some good games (like Half-Life 2 for example) and is pretty cheap. Either that, or wait till you get home to play.
