| Im thinkin about coming back... |

I used to play CoV/H and I loved it. There was a few things I didnt like to much about it though like the barriers around areas and the lack of emotes. I switched over to WoW and enjoyed that till I maxed out several characters in a matter of days which got boring. Would switching back to CoV/H and leaving behind WoW be a good choice or no?

Well its really up to you...
The barriers are still there for now, but I know its in the plans to remove them soon.
There's a ton of emotes available, just look at our Tips & Hints for Emote Tips.
Honestly, if you left the game because there's not enough emotes, you're playing the game for the wrong reason. The game is still fun. There's more powers, more enemies, more missions (Mayhem missions are lots of fun and give you cool bonus powers).
I was a paying member of the game for over a year and a half straight, and it got tiring to me, to the point of me barely playing it anymore. Then my credit card was freuded and my account got deactivated. I decided to use the opportunity to take a break. I didn't reactivate it until just this past month, and I'm glad I took a break. I like it all over again. But I think any game you play for a long time straight you'll get tired of for a while, but is fun to pick back up later on.
I do hope you'll come back to the game; if you don't like it, you can just stop again after your month or two of playing. Buy a timecard for $20 and then you can play if you want to.

Thanks guys I think I'm gonna go back to playing it because it was really fun and had a lot of fun people in the game. I'd like to see how things have changed since I've left.

As for coming back its up to you COX has really changed and I think the coolese bit right now is being that COX has been Nominated for MMO of the year so thats good news in itself. But in what ever you do do what you feel will make you enjoy playing the game.

Ok, try this one....
The game is fun and there will be a new Issue coming out soon that's bringing more fun to the Villain side...HAMI RAIDS!!! Yes, you heard me correctly...HAMI RAIDS!!!
Crafting systems will be introduced as well...so, what's the need for WoW when you can get all of what you loved about the game previously and all the new stuff that's on the horizon...seems like an easy decision to me..but then again, who am i???

I hate to be devil's advocate her, but if you are going to be making the switch you need to here the full story first, not just the good things that are happening. Everyone here has mentioned the main reasons that you should make the switch and come back, but unfortunately no one has listed the reasons why you might want to stay where you are.
Probably, the biggest reason you might want to stay where you are (this is supposing you are happy with WoW) is stability issues. There has been a continuing trend with CoX in which issues are continuing to be released way to early. While the extra features are very nice and quite enjoyable the earlier than necessary release has often created major bugs and game instability that may or may not have been noticed in test. This can lead to horrendously bad lag and a general un-enjoyment of the new features for some users (even users with "higher end" machines may see the effects, a lot has to do with the bias toward certain hardware manufacturers, but lets not get to in depth with that).
There has been progress fixing certain issues and patching certain patches that have been around for a while, but the Devs still have a long way to go. So, I guess what I'm saying is, if you don't mind the possibility of poor performance that make make the game hard to play for some periods of time and you don't mind having to deal with an increase in the number of problems every time an issue is released then by all means come on down to the Paragon city where the trolls are green and . . . well, you know the song.

Just something i ran across and it caught my eye...
Gives me something to ponder in those tough situations in-game when on a PuG and the other Stalker keeps attacking mob after mob, by himself and when he rezzes, he goes and gets another mob, when we haven't finished with the last 2 mobs he aggro'd and can't understand why he hit his debt cap in one mission.... now I can ask myself, "what would the Pope say?"

Hehe Thanks again everyone. But yeah I've known about the issues that have been going on and I probably wont really mind it to much because WoW had that effect to when a patch is realesed and when the Xpack came out. I was unable to play for quite some time do to the high rate of hackers being able to get accounts like crazy. I just need to get away from all the old crap in WoW like riding a mount, eating and drinking, armor,hacker!, people being super competetive about armor (though mine is uber great XD) and its just a little old now. Im definatly coming back but I just hope my computer can manage the game. It really never was able to hold the game to well had to lower my graphics and everything to play the game without lagging every second. Think i might get an upgrade too ^_^ Oh and have they added special classes like the 2 for CoH but for CoV yet or are they not going to do that?

By barriers, do you mean the zones that have level restrictions?
Also WoW is lame, its very boring, i played the 14 day free trial a while back and found it not even to be in the same league as CoH/CoV, but again it's your choice, and if you do decide to come back to CoH/CoV, and need any help or info on badges, just let me know.

WoW just has more freedom thats it really and by barriers I meant that walls that kept you from going to far but I guess WoW had those too. But what I'm really gettin at is Whats With All the Badges?!?!?! I mean i remember collecting them like when I7 was out and they gave you some rewards but has the purpose for them changed???

Badges are cool, and shiney, and give you something else to accomplish other than just reaching lvl 50 with another toon after another toon. Other than that i can really think of no other reason why they put badges in the game.
Also, from what Vince said up above, about taking a break, that is always a good thing to do, especially when you get bored, like vince did, i also took a break this past year for a few months, but not for the same reason, i took a break because of PvP in general, all the bullsh*t talking, all the jacka**** that like to put you down if your not a god in PvP, things like that, and i let those things get to me so much that i almost quit the whole game.

Ah... ok i got it now. And yeah pvpers get to competetive, but I would only pvp in WoW i guess or until i get a new computer and can fight without lag in CoX.
