hi...i'm goi nto dentist in like an hour and i'm i suffer from extreme dentist-fobia :( lol
he keeps telling me everytime that i'm very emotional because i keep fainting for everything :P last time he was lookng at teeth with this lamp thing jsut to check and i fainted already...
my question is : is there anything you can do before hand to make sure u don't faint / not to be very emotional ? :( please, help :(

I've never had dentisaphobia so idk?!? What have you got to worry about? I'd guess that something traumatic happened to you at the dentists as a child :/

Hey :) i have the same problem!
Last time I went to new dentist and I almost fallen from the chair while drilling :(. And dentist asked me to EAT something before visit ^_^ (like half an hour before visit) and second time i only got very pale but SURVIVED !! :) hope it helps ;)

Yeah, think about some happy stuff, you're only going for a check up so there's nothing to worry about.
P.s: never had...that.. myself... no i mean a fear for dentists :p

Well seeing as you're only supposed to have about 2 of those a day I think it would be better to not do that xD.
I don't know what the problem is here... I would love to be able to just pass out at the dentist... I really, really, REALLY hate it.
Hygenist: "Your gums are bleeding"
Me: "You're scraping them with a metal pick..."
Hygenist: "Do you floss?"
Me: "God it hurts please make it stop, the scraping noise is crawling into my brain"
Hygenist: "you know pop will decay your teeth"
Me: "My pain brings you joy doesn't it?!?!"
Hygenist:".....yes....."
My dentist lets me bring an mp3 player to listen to while I'm there so I can't really hear the scraping (it helps a tiny bit) but I lost my last one so I havn't been able to use it... xD
Music may be the answer.... put a bunch of songs on that relax you or something.
Maybe the dentist should just K.O. you before they do anything, seeing as you faint they might as well just do it for you. That'd be pretty sweet xD.

Oh I like my hygienist she's 20something & very very cute! Unfortunately she's also engaged and I doubt she'll have any interest in a guy who's teeth she cleans...spending those precious minutes picking at plaque and staring up my nose....ahh romance!!

i always think of very very terrible things, and when i open my eyes again, im happy that im in the dentist's chair instead of that awfull place :D

I gag sometimes when they thrust instuments down your throat.
lol's Keo you know Dentists have the highest suicide rate... as well as a pretty high divorce rate.... just hang in there ;) lol.

i have a friend thats dentis-phobic...i went with him one time and it was hliarious...the guy got him high off of Laughing gas...Pure black mail material :)
Just let him hit you on the head with a wrench and you'll be fine

Just add "I will Survive" shout and save it to your dentist_visit template. That should help with your degen to consciousness and gum bleeding.
