Iv'e noticed that in the past few day's that there have been a number of nasty comments by many high credibility and low credibility owners alike. Now some new members and people of that nature I understand. But people who ahve been here a while and have lot's of dredibility from the populace shame on you! I won't call any names to spare people the embarassment(If you tell on yourself that's another story). So I have just one last thing to say.
Keep gameamp a happy and fun place to be. Don't be a jerk,don't act better than anyone else. Don't be nasty with anyone. Please for the sake of the site be nice and don't bite. Now feel free to comment but if insult/get an attitude with me I will report you and you will have only proven my point.

Such is life.
Things to one person are totally different to another. Which is why the "no flaming" policy is rarely put into effect because there is too wide a range of what "flaming" is to actually ban someone for it.
Things that offend some are trivial to others. And in text it's a lot harder to see sarcasm and intent as it is with speach. Things get lost in translation etc. etc.
Another peoblem is when people don't read the entire post or the entire posts being replied too because they are too lazy and just assume someone is wrong outright.
It'd be a good idea to read everything before you respond... and please for the love of god please use paragraphs. When you have a new idea or switch subjects just hit the enter key once, maybe twice so a giant sea of white doesn't attack my eyes. xD
The white on brown makes you go cross eyed if you stare at it too long xD (see using paragraphs isn't that hard and it makes it simple and easy to read!) then people wont missread as much and everyone (especially me) will be happy xD.

Controversy is a good thing, if you have a point of view then you should air it, balance is the key. Decisions should be informed it's only if you have no flexibility in belief that arrogance rears it's ugly head and condemns those that do not agree or do not know better, which is where the flaming begins. Respectful disagreement should be positively encouraged 'heated debates' draw attention and spark discussion, heated debates should stay GW (we are after all a GW forum) related and should definately not become heated debates about personality deficiency :)
It's good they can spark threads like this, a nice way to bring in a little reminder of the kind of community we have and are building, one that's based on respect, that all important word :) I would both hate a forum that allowed insults or any other lack of basic human respect for each other to propogate while I would also hate a forum where everybody agreed and didnt show any emotion in something they feel strongly about, just remember ultimately you have the control and responsibility with your posts, it is definately up to you if you want to cross the line in to flaming, just be prepared for the consequences :)
Accepting a little madness and an amount of dischord is healthy as is accepting your wrong or agreeing to disagree.

I wasn't really talking about a disagreement when I created this thread. I was thinking more about a few personal attacks I saw. Recently though it has been pleasant.
