No one did anything nice to me, but I once gave away a +29 Hammer of Fortitude. I think it was a hammer anyways lol. Someone was running the desert for tips and I had no use for it then and still have no use for it now lol.

A chest runner i know gave me a req 10 15^50 inscripted hornbow once for helping her lead the team to complete naphai.
The nicest thing people can do for you in guild wars i think is just to be your freind and be there when you need them for company.
good topic by the way

Agreed.
When I got into my present guild, not too much after that at least, one of the guild leaders very kindly gave me a Rago's Flame Staff. I've used it on my Ele ever since. I've repaid him by giving him over 10 ectos while he was working towards some FoW armour.

i was a lvl 14 wammo standing in ToA, about to give up hope in GW. some guy said "Warriors trade me for a gift!" i opened up trade, and lo and behold he gave me 20k. i got myself a ran to droks and got myself some armor, without that guy i probably wouldn't even be typing this right now.

Nicest thing someone did for me is when i was a lvl 15 i think, someone offered to make a run from Lions Arch all the way to the ascension for free and he didnt accept any tips, he gave all tips to his newer guild member
i tipped 1k which was a lot to me back then
it was very nice to go all the way and not having to worry about running to get all the towns and then going back and doing the missions without having to worry too much...
very nice thing he did

As the saying goes, its better to give than receive. I haven't really had anything extremely nice done for me, but what I did get was a good friend.
Back during when The Deep and Urgoz were popular, I met a new guy who had managed to make it to the elite mission. A few attempts later we were good friends.
What makes me confused about him was the fact that he left GW 6 months later (plays WoW, but occasionally comes back on) with 973k and 28 perfect golds... and he only did PvP (hardly got to HA for good items and what not).
I offered to hold it for him, but he gave it to some other friend who ended up spending all of it even after the friend told him he wouldn't spend any of it.
Honestly, I wouldn't have. Don't really need the money :)
EDIT: Oh, and this other guy helped me run the desert and gave me some pretty decent starting weapons.

one of my old guildies who is my best friend in the game gave me 175k. i spent 90k on my black 15k pyro armor and the rest on other characters armor. i met him when i was helping people get there secondary armor in pre. i helped him get his. after that he asked me to join his guild. then after a few monthes he gave me 175k along with ragos flamewand and the kinderlock that i use on my ele. wow im glad i helped that guy lol.
the other would have to be from all of u in the gameamp guild and alliance. youve all been incredibly nice to me and very helpful. someday i hope to return the favor to all of u.

when my first character (necro) was lvl 9, i was standing around in Piken Square, asking random ppl about what, at the time, were mysterious "green weapons". A lvl 20 monk came up to me, and told me all he knew about greens. I asked where you got them, and what they were worth. He then asked what attribute of magic i used most. At that point in time i used a lot of curse magic, so i told him curse. He said he'd brb in about 10 min's or so...
When he came back *this was way before factions came out, mind you* he gave me Vilnar's Claw. I was astonished to tell you the truth. He was a really nice guy ^_^. I still have that Vilnar's Claw too, don't use it cuz there's better things now, but i did use it for a long time.

Hey everyone! First of all I'm not new, for some reason I cannot log into my old account. I haven't logged in in a long time, so maybe that is why.
I have had many nice things done for me, such as free run from Ascalon to Droks, then he wouldn't take my money when I tried to pay him and he gave me a Black Dye.
Evil Geek helped(basically soloed) me with the mission with the weird eye in the triangle that follows you around.
Nuclear Apocalypse(thats his IGN, forgot his AMP name) gave me 1 ecto when I first decided I want to make a guild so that I could buy a cape.
And many other which I have probably forgotten about.
Thanks everyone for all the help

Nicest thing, when i was first starting out, this guy who taught me and my two friends how to see scams, how to go about getting runs, how to buy/sell..and other such advice..
he also gave me a free run to droks, my first ever FDS (which i was thinking i would never be able to get one, i wanted one since i saw them in pre when i first started 16months ago).. he was a pretty good guy...
i have long since passed that sword onto another first timer, along with a free run to some good armor, and some helpfull hints and tips, along with his other 3 friends..
best time ive had, was being in a fun active group helping each other... great topic, i dislike seeing all this vulgar and childish behavior of the gw world lately.. tend to keep my "ALL" on Off setting

i would say the nicest thing that has been done for me would be people teaching me how to do missions and bonuses, the skills of pulling and trapping. basically how to play the game expertly.
Nicest thing I've done would be borrowed a friend 60k for their armor, which i refuse to accept back (had sold a perf req 8 mursaat stormbow for an insane price the day before)
Currently I've taken up residence in Abbadon's mouth with my monk, helping people get thru the mission (while I farm the chests) even if I'm the only monk I make it to the end, maybe 1 or 2 times that I haven't.

Friends and guild mates give me free stuff, but really the most free stuff I get is when I played WoW for a few months. People give female night elves all kinds of free stuff.

When I was new a guy helpen me in pre-searing on a mission, and he gave my my first good starter bow when i got out of there. I used that one for a very long time....
To return the favor I had several nice starter shields and spears etc and gave them to low level people who just started with a new dervish or paragon...
Regards,
Michiel
