Need an Opinion / poll - armor choice

i'm currently working on getting my 15k luxon armor set for my male ranger, 2 more pieces to go (first 15k set)

it takes me a while to get an armor so i thought i would take a vote now to see which i should start working on next:

15k Canthan, or Primeval

either one is going to take time and lots of money but i wanted the Game Amp community to help me descide

i like the canthan the best. the primeval has too many horns sticking out of it.

i was thinking

1. Canthan has the sweet body armor, protecting kinda look

where

2. Primeval has the don;t get in my way i have spikes and a head on my shoulder kinda look

either way its basically 75k....

personally I like Primeval armor for almost every profession but I don't see many 15k Canthans

15k Canthan has the Ranger feel to it

in my opinion: primeval looks cooler

but really its whatever you think, dont just pick because we think it looks cool, pick it because you think soo, after all its your armor, not ours.

My new Ranger is now kitted out in the Factions version of the pre-searing collectors (the one with the long coat) and that's the way he's staying!

You don't have to go 15k if you can find something you like in the 1.5k range.

The point I am making is that there is no need to buy a 15k set just for the sake of it. If you're unsure of what you want then don't spend the cash until you are. IMO both of those armour sets are ugly as are most Ranger skins hence my sticking with 1.5k stuff.

Since the original poster said it takes ages to save for a set I'm just suggesting an alternative.

I like the Canthan better. But like Keo said, I persoanlly don't like most of the Ranger armor, except the 1.5k droks witch is pretty much standard lol

You've got my vote for Canthan. Looks more "real" and that's what I usually go for.

I agree with Keo too... I tend to go with what looks best to me, not the most expensive I can afford. Case in point, I can easily afford FoW Armour, but I find every set (save for female necro) to be butt-ugly. That's why my warrior is running around with Drok's Knights and mesmer with 1k Sunspear. Looks great on them!

Well i have the Primeval Armor and everyone ingame always gives comps on it but the Canthans looks very nice.
Maybe i'll put is on my next ranger. Go Canthans.

I think that 15k canthan looks really nice and not many people have it so it would me more worthwhile and i think that it has more of a rangery feel to it.

Primeval armor is like Canthan armor with some extra features :) like big fangs coming out of it..
I like Primeval better:) but in the end it's your choice ;)

i jus got canthan for my ranger couple of weeks ago

looks sweet =p

but its totally up 2 u

i have mixed feelings about primeval

the spikes are abit too much IMO shud be smaller

Man I have to say 15k Canthan all the way,my ranger has it and I have to say its the coolest looking Ranger armor so far(15k druids is second best^^)

for looks it's the cantha armor,
so just go with wath you like I rewarded all my caracters who made it through a campain with 15k armor it was expencie but i had fun getting them through and just as much fun finding the right armor.

But have you considered the dye or is that for next time, in the mean while enjoy your shopping

Canthan looks suave, Primeval makes you look evil; but if you want to look evil, go for Primeval :D

As soon as I saw this thread, I immediately went out and got 15k Canthan. It was a great buy, it looks alot better than my old 15k Druids and Luxon and Frostbound. Stupid Black dyes not updating :( Anyway, I dyed it all white, and it looks nice
