Here are some riddles il disclose before i go to bed. Lets see who can crack them first! Btw whoever gets the answers first gets creds!
Riddle #1
There was a homeless man who was dragged off the street by a deputy policy officer. Inside the officer's office, above his desk their is a picture of his father. The Police Officer trys to ask the homeless man his name, but he will not disclose it. Instead, he points to the picture and says "Brothers and sisters i have none, but that man's father is my fathers' son."
Who is the homeless man?
Riddle #2
A group of friends decide to go fishing on a boat with 6-foot sides. on one side their is a ladder as long as the side of the boat (a 6-foot ladder). Every step is 1 foot. A huge storm surge comes and raises the water level 1 foot every hour for 3 hours.
How high is the water on the ladder?
Riddle #3
After a long travel you are almost at your destination. You eventually get to a fork in the road and have no idea of which way to go. At each side their are two brothers who both know the right way to go. One brother always LIES and one brother always tells the TRUTH. You can only ask one question to each brother.
What would you ask them?
PS - Remember that they are brothers.

It isnt up to the ladder, the boat rises with the water

Ask one if they are brothers, if he says yes, then go the opposite way that the other brother tells you, if he says no, go the way that the other brother tells you.

As for the second one, the boat rises as the water level does so the water would still be down at the bottom same as the start.
For the third one, ask either of them which way their brother would say to go and go the opposite direction. Learned that one from watching Samurai Jack.

I'll explain the third one since I have nothing better to do. The quandary lies in the fact that you don't know which brother tells the truth or which one tells the lies.
If you ask the the one that tells the truth which way his brother would say to go, he would tell you the wrong way (since his brother lies).
If you ask the one that tells lies which way his brother would say to go, he would also tell you the wrong way as well (since he lies and wouldn't tell you what his brother would actually say).
So, just ask either of them which way their brother would say to go and go the opposite.

Aw man, I was reading down and saw no one had gotten this one right yet. But you beat me.
The homeless guy's father's son is, of course, the homeless guy, since he has no brothers. So he is the man in the picture's father, (the police officer's father) and thus the police officer's grandfather.

The Answer to the second riddle is that the water does not go over the ladder because the boat floats ontop of the water.

@3: you ask each brother what way the other brother would say, so if the right way is left:
then the brother who lies says right (he knows his brother will say left, but he lies)
and the brother who tells the truth will say right too (he know it is left, but if his brother would say right)
for the ones who didn't understand completely
and I'm fully agreed with Kerberon ^^

Well, you guys are pretty good at this. The first answer was: 1.) The picture of the officer's father is the homeless man. 2.) The baot rises with the water so the water level stays the same. 3.) Ask each "what would your brother say?" Because you do not know who is the lier and who is the person telling the truth. So The truth teller would point in the wrong directon because he is telling the truth about his lieing brother. The lier would point in the wrong direction because he is lieing about where his brother would point. You just go the opposite way of them pointing becuase the will point in the same direction.
Now to award some creds ^.^

ok here's one that's kind of noobish
A police goes into a man's apartment to arrest him. when he goes inside, he sees there is nothing in the room, not even a book. He goes into the bedroom and slips on the wet surface. He gets up and sees a 5' man hanging 9 feet about ground by his neck. How did the man get up there? =P

well the man was standing on a huge block of ice and then just tied the rope to the roof or whatever he tied it up to up there. and then the block started to melt and melt till he hung and died ^^. i was going to submit almost the same riddle xD
where he got the block of ice and how he got on top of it i don't know but somehow he did it :|
