The idea just popped into my head a couple minutes ago while I was studying (ya, I'm confused too), so I figured I should post the idea before I forget, because I think it's a good one.
How would a music-themed SG sound to everyone? As in, everyone's names would be a band/song name, or a spoof of one (ie: Arrowsmith the Archery/TA Blaster).
I wouldn't be able to make it or anything since I don't spend enough time in-game to afford having alt-ism, and my brother and I want the kheldians real bad, so this idea's up for anyone to steal. I just figured it was too good to not suggest.

What I meant here is that I'm concentrating on like 1 or 2 characters right now, neither of which have anything to do with music.
In other words, I won't be the one making this thing. I was just suggesting it for anyone who'd be interested in using my idea. So I guess in a way it's whatever server you want, provided you wanna make it or know someone who would.

The only problem I forsee with this is the naming of the characters. I am not sure if A) they are taken already or B) it is against the game rules.
I dont really know for sure. Just a thought.

The example that was given (Arrowsmith) isn't even the actual name of the band (Aerosmith). But you can't copyright a name. You can trademark a name in a context, but, for example, DC comics cannot stop people from reprinting Nietscze's (I know I'm misspelling that) 'Man and Superman', and could not stop Donovan from recording 'Sunshine Superman'. And that's not even considering songs like Superman by Five for Fighting, Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, or Jimmy Olson's Blues by the Spin Doctors.
We're just looking at it from the other side. It would be awkward if there were two bands named Aerosmith, but even then I'm not sure Aerosmith with Steven Tyler could file suit against Aerosmith with Joe Potato.
There's nothing to stop somebody from creating a superhero named Aerosmith. I actually created a team of supervillains in the mid-90s based on a similar concept: Soul Asylum, Spin Doctor, Lord of Acid, and a few others whose names I'm forgetting.
Besides, NCSoft has plenty to worry about with people naming their characters Dr. Henry McCoy and the like (saw this guy on Pinnacle not a week ago). I don't think this is against ToS, and certainly they won't step in unless somebody's putting entire song lyrics in their backgrounds or finding ways to host MP3 files on their CoX accounts.

Did you start the SG Jersey? I have a start up SG on Justice. I need to find a coalition with another SG if possible.

Personally, I liked Joe Potato better when he was with the Rolling Stones (the ones without Mick Jagger, of course). ;)
I think I'm going to have to create Joe Potato as a sonic/sonic defender somewhere now.

Ah, the 70s. I was four when they ended.
I posted an image of the newly created Sonic/Sonic Joe Potato. Just for the heck of it.
And, regarding the seventies, my Katana/SR scrapper on Pinnacle, The Hustle, is, of course, designed to look like a 70s Disco King. Sadly, the names Disco Man, Disco King and the Disco Ninja were taken. Hustle works better, though.
