If i could get rid of one perfession it would have to be the mesmer because all the AI interupting really bugs me and no one seems to play as them in pve. If i could make a proffesion it would be a Druid because i like being able to change form. You could use the ofrms as a sort of stance.

Well, while this speculation was fun before previous campaigns, there will be no new professions in GW1. Plus I'm not creative enough to come up with my own. I am looking forward to the special abilities provided to different species in GW2, though.
Hmm, if I had to delete a class, it would have to be assassin. They're fun to play, but it's the only class that I deleted after I had all the skills for it. I play all the others, and love them. Plus, I hate fighting sins in PvP. They were so much fun to kill in the preview event, what happened?!

Paragon for sure, I mean ANet already nerfed them close to death...Getting rid of them would be a public service!
We wonder, "Why?" when we lose friends, and there are never any good answers.

I would get rid of rit's because of one skill that annoys me: Wanderlust. It pisses me off so much cuz I never see it and I keep getting KD over and over.
I do agree with you Hydras First about nerfing paragons to hell. They've taken every good skill them(especially Incoming!) and made them worthless. for example, Incoming! is now max 3 seconds with a 20 second recharge. What good does that do...Theyre still fun to play but they need to buff them again.

Oh yes! especially wanderlust along with earthbind thats like unlimited KD but i do like sins but that nerfed BoA sins -_-''

i would make a "shapeshifter"
a kind of caster with AL of 70, that would take form of their opponents armor, build, attributes, and weapons, and even diffferent race, depending on what you are fighting
they would also have abbilities like the mesmer to steal skills and steal stances like an assassin
this is my idea, i have not looked up or played other guys, sorry if this is already taken from someone else
1 class to take a way? paragon, you donlt see many now, barely any in pvp, or pve, i'm not saying their bad (i have one) but not many people use one, its a more misunderstood proffesion

I would like to see a speargun/trident/net wielding Aquaman type character. maybe call it a water-macallit. As for the character i like to see deleted...I say the monks. Lets make the game tougher by relying on self heals =)
All jokes aside. i think the game is pretty consistent with delivering the "goods" to the masses. So unless its a huge change for the better...Dont do anything to upset the already delicate balance between characters

For every 2 levels of Natural Rights you have, conditions you inflict last 2% longer.
Earth Manipulation
No inherent effect, many geomancer skills, including those related to dealing damage and inflicting conditions improve as your Earth Manipulation increases.
Battle Awareness
No inherent effect. Many Geomancer skill related to combat survival become more potent as your level in this attribute increases.
Attunement
No inherent effect. Many Geomancer skills, including those related to energy gain, and protection improve with Attunement.
Base Energy = 30
Armor = 55
Base Regen = 1
Armor:
+1 attribute headpiece,
+1 health regen chest piece
+1 energy regen gloves
+1 energy regen boots
Weapon – pike
8-25 damage
strike one foe
attack rate slighty slower then hammer

For 3..12 seconds skills inflicting conditions activate 12%..33% faster. (Natural Rights)
Activation instant, Cost 10 energy, Recharge 35 sec. Skill.
Inflicter's Insight {e}
For 3..18 seconds, skills inflicting conditions activate 40% faster, Recharge 20% faster, and your attack speed increases by 33%. (Natural Rights)
Activation 2 seconds, Cost 5 energy, Recharge 25 seconds. Preparation.
Fist of Earth
Raise a large chunk of earth at target foe's location. This chunk deals 12..46 earth damage and inflicts weakness for 5..13 seconds if target foe was not moving, otherwise, that foe and all nearby creatures are crippled for 3..8 seconds.(Earth Manipulation)
Activation 1 sec, Cost 5 energy, Recharge 7 sec. Spell.
Rising Spire.
A spire rises at target foe's location. This spire deals 18..64 earth damage and inflicts dazed for 2..8 seconds if target was casting a spell, otherwise, this skill inflicts bleeding for 3..16 seconds. This skill is disabled for 15 seconds after cast. (Earth Manipulation)
Activation ¼ sec, Cost 15 energy. Spell.
Raise Elemental
Create 1..4 Elementals at your current location. These elementals are level 1..12 and deal 3..16 earth damage when they attack. (Earth Manipulation)
Activation 3 sec, Cost 15 energy, Recharge 30 seconds. Commune Ritual
Summon Elemental
Create 1..3 Elementals at your current location. These elementals are level 7..15 and deal 6..21 earth damage when they attack. (Earth Manipulation)
Activation 5 sec, Cost 20, Recharge 45 second. Commune Ritual.
Raise Titan. {e}
Create 1 earth titan at your location. This titan is level 16..18 and sends out projectiles that Inflict one random condition for 6..10 seconds, and when this titan dies, 2 level 5 titans spawn who deal 3..12 earth damage and inflict one random condition for 2..4 seconds each time they hit with an attack. This skill is disabled for 100 seconds after use. (Earth Manipulation)
Activation 8 sec, Cost 25 energy, Recharge 30 seconds. Commune Ritual.
*All elemental and titans spawn with -3 health degen and suffer double damage from water attacks.
You may only control one type of spawn at a time. You may not have more than 1 titan, 4 risen elementals, and 3 summoned elementals at one time.
Geomancer's Control
You gain 15..25 health for every summoned elemental you control. (Combat Awareness)

Earth born Reflexes.
For 12 seconds you gain +5 armor each time you are hit with an attack. This skill is easily interrupted. (Combat Awareness)

Passive Guard
You have a 12..36% to block projectiles. This skill ends when you are hit with a critical attack. (Combat Awareness)
Activation Instant, Cost 5 energy, Recharge 50 sec. Stance.
Known Strike
The next attack skill used against you fails and the attacker is blinded for 2..6 seconds. (Combat Awareness) Activation Instant, Cost 5 energy, Recharge 12 seconds. Skill.
Fatal defense {e}
All adjacent creatures take 50 damage and are blind, crippled, and begin to bleed for 25 seconds when you die while under the effect of this skill. The attacker who landed the final blow dies with you. This skill is disabled for 160 seconds.(Combat Awareness)
Activation instant, Cost 15 E. Stance.
Zealous Conjure.
You lose all energy regen for 10 seconds. Each time you hit with an attack you gain 1..2 energy.(Attunement)
A 2 sec, C 5 energy, R 20. Enchantment
Channeled Defenses
You gain 1 energy each time you are hit with a projectile when not moving. This skill ends after 12..18 seconds. This skill ends when you are hit with a critical attack. (Attunement)
A ½, C 5, R 15. Enchantment.
Tranquility
For 10 seconds you and target ally are healed for 50% more when healed. This effect ends prematurely when either you or your target are hit with a critical attack. (Attunement) A 1, C 5, R 20
Zealous Burst {e}
You and target touched ally gain 2 energy regen and +10 maximum energy for 12..30 seconds. When this skill ends you gain 5..12 energy. If this skills ends prematurely you lose 24 health and have -3..1 energy regen.(Attunement)
A ¼, C 10, R 15. Enchantment
Those are just a sample skills i came up with. I think its kinda neat.
Pretty much this is a Elementalist/Necromancer combination.
It might be a little overpowered, err ok, maybe even a lot over powered. I tired to balance things out, but im not the best at that. I was just thinking a geomancer would be kinda of enjoyable to play and I thought id share my idea here.

You can take out the elementalist because its damage is easily brushed off with a simple heal sig/troll/prot spirit/etc between spells
Replace it with a hand to hand fighter much like the D&D Monk

Oh yeah, I would love to see a blackbelt class.
Primary Ability
Battle Prowess- For every point in Battle Prowess, you have a *2x attribute* % chance to deter the enemies' efficiency. This causes the opponent to attack/cast *x attribute* % slower than normal. This can only be done with MELEE weapons. Many skills that allow fluidity in battle(such as stances) and subdue the opponent are under Battle Prowess.
Fist Style- Attacks with Gauntlets/Claws (new weapon) deal more damage and have a higher critical hit rate. Many skills that deal with quickly damaging and impairing your opponent get better with higher Fist Style.
Physical Training- No inherent effect. Physically trains one self to be stronger in battle. Includes many abilities to improve attack damage done and reduce damage done.
Awareness- No inherent effect. Allows one to better prepare themselves for battle. Many abilities that allow the user to see weaknesses (and thus exploit them) or avoid being damaged are under Awareness.
Well, that's my idea. I can't think of much skills at the moment but I do hope my idea is good (even though it won't be implemented).

Id love to see a hand-to-hand combatant with some ki projectiles, grabs (touch skills with that delivers conditions like ,KD ,dazed, cripple, etc..), punchs and kicks, etc..just like some other people already posted. They should have 70AL, some stances and other self-buff habilities.
The class to dump should be the Rit. Its kinda annoying that they added some sort of camping strategies on the game.

didn't have to even think about this one! which class to delete? the RITUALIST ofcourse!! omg i woudl be like SO extremely happy =) because all this spirit crap is extremely annoying and not really usefull as a different class could easily be more usefull.

mesmer is the more versatile class in the game. it can beat anything. if you say this then it must be that you have never played it before or you just have a lvl 19 stuck in amoon that only has like 10 skills... i'd inmediatly quit game if mesmer was deleted >.<

I would have to say that being a good mesmer is probably the hardest thing to do in GW. The primary reason I haven't played a mesmer is that I don't believe I am quick enough to play it well. A good mesmer has insight to both what HIS team is doing as well as the opposing team.
I am not saying a mon is easy, or that a interupt ranger is easy but I think a mesemr job is a little more difficult then those 2. Just my opinion. AS for classes I would like to see deleted.......none. I think everyclass has a usefull purpose in this game and removing it b/c youfind them annoying will eventually effect a build YOU like.
As for paragons, yeah they have hit them hard withthe nerf bat but that paraspike is still a very formidable HA spike

Hmmm.. A simple heal, to brush off a elementalists attack? you must be thinking about monster elementalists.. as they dont do the best combos.. Though, bring out ele spikers, perhaps a Echo, Arcane Echo, Meteor Shower KD build.. Then bring down the hammer with other skills, immolate.. meteor, or w/e you need, in-between spells, you wouldnt get much chance, especially with 2-3 MS on you.

I don't understand why everyone HATES Paragons? Just because one update you want to get rid of em? I can't wait for all the people that deleted their Paragons realize they become 1337 in GWEN and then they complani. I'm keeping mine because Mesmers, Rangers, and Necros ALL had the same thing. Crap then got 1 good update and were 1337. Just give Paragons a chance and you will probably be happy with yourself.

The derv, cause its basically just a wammo. and nobody likes a wammo. Also, Warriors are better than dervs, i can kill any derv any time.
I would make a new class, called the FifthGrader. He only uses Frenzy + Heal Sig + Triple Echo Mending (due to its suckiness, it can have 3 proffessions, but only if you are primary FifthGrader).
or make some class abbr. Ug, that way if u have a P/Ug ur a PUG.

I wouldn't delete any of them, but the one if I had to choose would be assassin, I hardly ever use it. I find the restrictive Lead-Offhand-Dual kinda boring.
