In the end is it worth it???

You can get high in your professions but only some of them benefit you.
Mining is a money making skill which i think is good and maybe jewelcrafting.Alchemy help u make potions which r good.I say that any armour making skill or waepon is a waste of time.

Think about it wut is so good about armour that you can make right.you always get better gear than you can make in the burning crusade.

ya u're right but not with all armour making skill is a waste of time .. with tailor u can make bags that u can sell 2 other players ..on my sv it works really good i did realy good money with it and i'm still making .... and if i think again it's worth to make an armour/weapon making skill but only at high lvl skill and if u have rare recipes :)

RE: In the end is it worth it???

The new armor crafting patterns in TBC at the end of the proffesion chains are all more viable to other 70's than when lvl 60 was the cap. That was one of the biggest complaints about the armor crafting tradeskills.

The patterns are rare, but I have a friend that makes, and regularly sells Cobra Scale hoods for 1500G on the Garona server. The price sounds rediculous to me, and of course at that price he doesn't sell many. But he's sold three of them already. He did pay 1500G for the pattern though, so the first one was just to break even. But after that, it's quite a bit of profit.

That's for leatherworking but there are marketable patterns in all of the armors and tailoring now. It's definately worth it.

Another thing you should consider is why did you start doing it in the first place. Nothing you do in game gets you anything other than entertainment. I think if you start crafting to make a profit you shouldn't do it. The only reason I am a crafter is because I think it is fun, and I would like to see what my creations will look like. That I also make some money out of it is just a pleasant bonus.

Well um your actual skill in playing the classes and the spec you go comes into play....Hunters are sweet solo if you have a main to support there very healthy appetites and are a ton of fun to play. Shaman are great as well and can dps pretty hard super slick in pvp and the buffs from those totems will have your instance groups worshiping the ground you walk on.

I gotta tell you tho, the new recipes for weapons and armor are sweet! Some stuff are really high end stuff, of course you can get better but that better stuff will take lots of time to acquire.
