whats best

I just need some opinions on which guild wars is best... I just bought nightfall

i like Factions because Alliance Battle is one of the best PvP experiences and due to the Luxons and Kurzicks fighting, the world is never the same.

PvE The best to start off with at the moment would be Nightfall probably, if your looking to get a second one go for Prophecies
No discussion Factions is widely seen as a mistake, it's short, the stories not too good, the missions are mostly horrible and most of the skills are bad
Prophecies on the other hand has none of those problems

Please make your question a little clearer next time :)

Prophecies imo was THE best campaign of them all so I would say get it. If you're gonna start pvping then get Factions because they have assassins and rits which are fun in pvp. But for PvE Prophecies beats all.

My Personal favorite is Prophecies, but NIghtfall as your first is a good choice. Right now, it is the most populated. :)

Thanks! Most of my friends can't play a MMO that has monthly fees, so I got guildwars and im taking a break from WoW... Im about to go off topic to post this awesome video I saw. I'm not sure if everyone has seen it but I'm gonna post it anyways. Guildwars video

Id say prophecies is the best to start off with, i personally havent played nightfall besides the preview event so im basing this off of factions and prophecies but i liked prophecies storyline a lot better than factions and the world seems bigger and more explorable and just all around more fun, it also gives you a good starting experience in pre-sear where you can learn about every proffession and what to expect with each one. All around it was just more fun for me

I disagree, many skills in Factions are nice.

VwK is an exmaple. needed for soloing UW as W/Rt
Dragon Slash is also nice for a sword elite.
Famine is also pretty good for DoA farming.
Are you forgetting about the big tank, Flesh Golem?
